I'm not sure what "nookie" is but I doubt it's Godly.

I wondered that too. We know that blood is alive (not in the form of blood pudding presumably it having been superheated with steam) and that without blood draining out, actually sprayed over wretched sinners assembled to atone for their condition before God, no forgiveness can ever be possible. Everyone is born in that condition and no matter how many bulls are slaughtered by one's parents or grandparents, the vile curse brought down by Eve and transmitted to us through Adam can never be reversed. Here is some blood pudding.
intact pudding <—— sliced ——> Scottish variant
Christians accept that condition of birth but have the blood of Jesus, drizzled out of Him, running and dripping onto the ground, The Perfect Atonement for the rottenness of sin. Sin every baby is born full of, revolting to God and deserving only of torture, over and over again. When God looks at a Christian He sees that blood, the blood of Jesus, still alive and penetrating the whole world, enabling Him not to strike us down as He struck down all those wretches, all age groups, male and female, babies, geriatrics, buffalos and eels in the dreadful flood all those years ago. Only 8 survived but sadly resumed sinning again almost immediately with a genital viewing of all things really it's just too revolting and I don't need to dwell on that here.
Savages murdered their own children (this is why God wiped everyone out in the first place but certain types seem unable to learn) and God exposed Abraham and Isaac to the trauma of tying up a son/being bound by a father, placing or being placed on an altar for gouging with a knife and incineration so that more blood could run out while it was still alive for God to see. But God is a loving god and didn't really want that to happen so snared a ram which would be inconvenient enough for the creature except that it got to be chopped alive and burned instead just as Jesus would be run through in the future.
Genesis 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
That helps us to understand how much God loves us – but didn't mean there was a permanent moratorium¹ on sacrificing a loved family member. Isaac's blood would have gone off after a while but Jesus' blood remains alive today and that is what God sees when observing Christians. Does that mean family members have special "magic" status for Christians as they do for disbelievers obsessing over one another as if their progeny were the next Mozart? Of course someone will outdo Mozart eventually, generally he's thought more likely to compose "some wicked techno" if reincarnated than Beethoven (who evidently inspires the metal) but I digress. The progeny in question rarely seems equipped for either rôle. Jesus knew this and explained about family members as follows:
Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
It could be this area of God's Perfect Love causing uncertainty. Satan does that all the time: "Don't listen to the Christians," he'll say, "They want you to stop [fill in revolting detail] for good because (ew!) blood." Satan wants everyone to suffer just as God explains we all deserve, forever.
I hope that is helpful.
