Rep. George Santos gives me an idea... -
01-15-2023, 06:18 PM
Representative George Santos (R-NY) lied about his ethnicity, religion, family history, and career past in order to get elected to Congress. He did tell the truth about one thing though, being a conservative. Which brings me to my brilliant idea.
Ok, let's take a solidly Democratic constituency - say Vermont's at-large congressional district. What if a a hypothetical person, we'll call him Tony Toole, were to register as a Democrat and publicly espouse progressive liberal talking points, then enter and win the Democratic primary and then the election? Afterwards Congressman Toole could switch his party affiliation to Republican and reveal his true colors as a MAGA Republican. Remember that time in 2001 when hellbound Judas RINO Jim Jeffords defected from the GOP, causing the Senate's majority to transfer to the Democrats? Imagine if the good guys (us) could pull that off. Instead of hacking away at some purple battlegrounds, take over some Democrat strongholds for two- or even six-year terms. I think as a political strategy this possibility has been greatly neglected and has a lot of potential.

This volunteer chosen for this top secret mission would have to get their facts straight about Democrat lifestyles and debauched behavior with members of the opposite sex, and worse, or risk being exposed as... as... as... something bad? You know, we ought to put a committee on this.

Everybody lies. Certainly not deliberately. I've found that when our memory is flawed, just like the Amazing Mr. Santos, is because it is Gods Will©. God may of wanted Mr. Santos to do all the wonderful things he claimed to of done but simply there is not enough time in a day. Jesus certainly had to face similar obstacles while performing His Miracles as well. If we do not have faith, what do we have?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Truth, Brother Hutchins. If it turned out Jesus had "embellished" somewhat in His resume - perhaps the sick were only temporarily healed based on adrenaline and wishful thinking - well, that doesn't make me think any less of Him. The important thing is that He can sit on Congressional investigation committees is the son of God, not the path He took to get there. Everything else is interminable gossip.

I like a young politician who aspires to great things. These many accomplishments Geoge has claimed that he might not have yet achieved takes nothing away from him. They reflect a person on his way to the top. That his relentless ambition to achieve greatness has sometimes gotten mixed up with his memory should not be criticized as something bad. Instead, it is something to be admired.

I shouldn't be surprised, but now the socialist/communist mainstream media are reporting that Rep. Santos used to be a drag queen in Brazil. This is completely FAKE NEWS. Remember, this is the same media elite that portrayed President Trump as stupid, ignorant, untruthful, angry, and sinful. You can't trust what they report about Rep. Santos any more than you can trust what they said about President Trump.

We've all done things we regret. That's kind of the point of being a Christian, ain't it duh. If we hadn't of received drunken oral sex from men in public bathrooms while vacationing in SE Asia and the Dominican Republic then there'd be nothing for Jesus to forgive.

Has anyone ever been to a Moonie event? I won't be linking to anything but did accidentally experience a presentation once. Unbelievable! Superficially innocuous with a slide show in a lecture hall and all these things they had done (get this) "in the spirit world!" They said someone who was an artist visited whatever the Moonies call the spirit world, after becoming a Moonie, and then painted what was there – done in oils it looked like. Then someone else, possibly Sun Moon himself, photographed the things and that was the slide show. Extremely boring. They'd say things like,
(next slide please)
[click!]
“Ah, yes; this is in the spirit world. Notice the building. It is an orphanage. Wherever an orphanage is located [i.e. in the real world] is also a location in the spirit world. It's the same building but as you can see the landscape is not worldly. That landscape is the spirit world.”
(next slide please)
[click!]
“Oh good, they've included this one. This is in fact the spirit world and over there ..blah ..blah ..blah” for about two hours with occasional little sandwiches passed around. The point being that Mr Santos has not claimed to be doing things in the spirit world and as such, less likely to be demon-possessed than a Moonie. That makes him more trustworthy, an important element in the makeup of a congressman.
I hope I'm not speaking out of turn: I don't really understand politics.

I've been around politics long enough to recognize political talent. George Santos is one Republican on the way up. He won in a Democratic district and now he is ready for a bigger stage.
I like his political instincts. Just now, his campaign cash flow is a little low so he is making strategic adjustments. Earlier, he had loaned his campaign about 85K. He knows later there might be cash crunch later. He has paid himself back the 85K. It's important to not to get one's self into a bind that lowers enthusiasm.

I'd like to see Mr. Santos run for the Senate. Unseating incumbent Senate Majority Leader Chucky Schumer would be quite the feather in his cap. And from there, who knows? A cabinet post, running mate... maybe even the Oval Office.

Definite VP material – just think, this could have been Mike (Pence) – what a waste, so sad.
