Levi Johnston's mother hit with drug charges
Arrested: her son was in the spotlight as father of bristol palin's baby.

WASILLA -- A 42-year-old Wasilla woman was arrested Thursday at her home by Alaska State Troopers with a search warrant in an undercover drug investigation. Sherry L. Johnston was charged with six felony counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance.

Johnston is the mother of Levi Johnston, the Wasilla 18-year-old who received international attention in September when Gov. Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, announced their teenage daughter was pregnant and he was the father. Bristol Palin, 18, is due on Saturday, according to a recent interview with the governor's father, Chuck Heath.

Troopers served the warrant at Johnston's home at the "conclusion of an undercover narcotics investigation," said a statement issued Thursday by the troopers as part of the normal daily summary of activity around the state.

Troopers charged Johnston with second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance -- generally manufacturing or delivering drugs -- as well as fourth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances, or possession.

Troopers released no other information, including the kind or amount of drugs, because details could jeopardize an ongoing investigation, spokeswoman Megan Peters said.

Asked how long the investigation had proceeded before Johnston's arrest, Peters would only say "a while."

The Palmer District Attorney's office had no comment.

Sherry Johnston was arrested around noon and booked at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, according to a booking officer there. She was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond just after 2 p.m.

No charging documents had been filed at Palmer courthouse by the end of the day, a clerk said.

Levi Johnston sat with Bristol and the rest of the Palin family in St. Paul, Minn., during Gov. Palin's speech to the Republican National Convention, and he joined the family on the stage afterwards.

This is obviously a political witchhunt by the bitter, paranoid DEMONcrats and the liberal media in Alaska. This kind of shameful politically-motivated stunt meant to punish Sister Sarah Palin is just what you'd expect from the DEMONcrats, and most likely is going to backfire, just like the vicious and shameful attempts to bring down Mark Foley, Jack Abramoff, Tom DeLay, Larry Craig, Scooter Libby, Rick Renzi, David Vitter, Duke Cunningham, Dusty Foggo, and Ted Stevens.

Now that the Demoncrats have taken over, look for more such persecutions in the coming months. It wouldn't surprise me to see Bill O'Reilly wrestled to the ground, cuffed and pistol-whipped by the feds live on Fox TV.

Those Demoncrats are terribly methodical in their methods. I don't exactly know what their methodology is, but they are practicaly fueled by methane in their pursuit of of their foes. They're not just preening Methodists wearing amethysts-- these folks are as ruthless as Macbeth.

I'm making my stance official: I think crystal meth should be legalized. Think of your typical crystal meth user: these aren't inner-city ganjahead types or tree-hugging hippies, like REAL drug users.

Real drugs like pot turn innocent kids into philosophizing gigglers with the "munchies" for each others genetalia.

"profane and vain babblings" sounds like the perfect description of what comes from a pot user. A pot-users thoughts are not in the "captivity...of Christ". Obviously the Bible is condemning pot and potheads.

But when it comes to Crystal Meth, God's opinion is the opposite. The Bible says "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth.…To you it will be for meat." … And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. (Genesis 1:29-31) The Jesus then predicts crystal meth's prohibition. "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times, some shall … speak lies in hypocrisy … commanding to abstain from meats which God hath created... (Paul: 1 Timothy 4:1-3)

"Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; that which cometh out of the mouth defileth a man." (Mat. 15:11)

Crystal Meth is used by exurban, rural, small-town folks - republican folks, who are persecuted and suffering under the yoke of liberalism. God actually commands us to provide methods of intoxication to our oppressed bretheren:

Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish and wine unto those of heavy hearts. Let him drink and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more. (Prov. 31:6-7)

So there you have it: Sarah Palin's sister-in-law is not a criminal who runs a drug-lab, but a generous servant of the community, who is following Christ's loving words to help her impoverished, miserable bretheren forget their troubles, as Christ commanded her.

One of the arresting officers might have been Sister Palin's "Troopergate" brother-in-law, and I bet he's vowed to bring her down.

We're just lucky this didn't throw little Bristle into early labor, or a spontaneous abortion.
