Is it okay for men to share a luffa in the showers at the gym? -
04-09-2020, 01:56 AM
I was sitting here watching Sean Hannity’s interview when a commercial of a local gym was wishing everyone health and safety during this fake pandemic and then I remembered I used to go visit that gym. Now yes, I would shower there but it was strictly for hygiene reasons because of 1 Corinthians 6:19. It’s one of those fancy gyms that poor black folk can’t normally afford. Anyway, I had a man pass by me offering to let me borrow his luffa. I’m sure it was just an offer of help but I still confused. Now I’m wondering what you nice white Christian folk have to say about two men sharing a luffa in the showers at the gym. What is the acceptable thing to do so that I’ll know if I ever get back to having a gym membership.

Pardon my ignorance as I don’t own one myself and believe in keeping soap on a string personally. I seem to have misspelled loofah as “luffa”. How could I confuse a sponge with some jigaboo plant? Anyway, I found a verse Jeremiah 2:22 that leads me to question whether it’s okay to share soap and loofahs amongst others. For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.

This suggestion is shocking, even for a Negroe.

Dear Mr. Rutherford: I do hope that you will not mind my expressing the need for a bit of caution here. You see, the offer of a "luffa" (or "loofah") may very well be "code" for something else. I shan't get into that, as it might be somewhat unsavory, and there is no place for such talk on ; however, I do think that if it's cleanliness that you seek, then you shall do no better than to rejoice once you've read this glorious passage from the :
Ezekiel 26:25 "Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you."
I do so hope that this clears up any confusion regarding your matters of personal hygiene, Mr. Rutherford.

Gracious beautiful young smart and wonderful white Sister Isabella, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for explaining this ordeal for me and giving me the clearest answer. I ain’t gonna accept any loofah or luffa from any man. You White Christian folk have all the right answers from which I can only assume came because of The KJV Bible.

Oh, dear Mr. Rutherford, kindly rest assured that you are as welcome as the flowers in May! It is my pleasure and privilege to impart wisdom to you from the blessed , and it is my prayer that you shall do your utmost, at all times, in following the beloved , in all that you do. May richly bless you -- now and always.

Are you speaking Arabic? Because neither one of these words sound American.

I don't know if Sean Hannity is aware of this, but if I were you I would be careful. Demons have been known to come into homes through the television you know, and that counts as inviting them. If you feel any sudden desires for cucumber salad or to listen to disco, speak to a pastor right away.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

There seems to be something distinctly wrong with this thread, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it has something to do with persons who keep their genitalia on the inside invading the Promise Enforcers Forum.
Ladies, you must understand that there are some topics in here that are not suitable for your delicate ears. That is why this one little corner is reserved for us men. Seriously, have any of you grown closer to the Lord because you have been contemplating two men sharing a loofah? I didn't think so.

Brother Dnow, I wonder if a woman's perspective might bring something of value to the discussion when talking about cleaning products? Certainly in the case of our esteemed ladies, not the unsaved filth of course.

You raise an excellent point, Dr. Toole. I suppose, just this once, we can look the other way. But we need to keep our guard up, lest our wonderful ladies start turning into the harpy wives who torment non-evangelical Christian men.

No, you should not share anything with men in showers at the gym. Especially phone numbers.
Phil
58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring k upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
