Unintentional Adultery: The threat that faces ALL women! -
02-28-2011, 12:10 AM
"But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Matthew 5:28
Some glorious words from our Savior here, Sisters, but words that hold many, many ramifications for us. Let's think about the definition of adultery for a moment. Merriam-Webster's defines adultery as:
Quote:
Definition of ADULTERY
: voluntary sexual intercourse between a married man and someone other than his wife or between a married woman and someone other than her husband; also : an act of adultery
|
Voluntary s*xual intercourse! That means that it takes two to "tango", ladies! And when we take that definition and apply it to Matthew 5:28, we realize that when a man has impure thoughts about a woman, it means the woman is equally (if not more!) at fault.
Of course, the Bible is quite clear on how adulterous women should be dealt with. Here's just a few verses on the subject:
"And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death." Leviticus 20:10
"If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel." Deuteronomy 22:22
As you can see, if the penalty for adultery is Death, then it follows that the penalty for a man having s*xual fantasies about you should also be death.
So the question that remains is "How do we keep men from having s*xual fantasies about us? How would we even know if that is the case?" and the answer appears to be quite simple at first. Don't be a slutty whore. This is, of course, the correct answer to this question, but there is a little more to not being an incorrigible slut than simply not spreading your legs for every man you see. Even a chaste virgin dressed in appropriate Christian attire can quickly become a hellish harlot that rapes the minds of men with naught but a shy smile and a sultry look in the eyes.
We must remember that the Lord, in His infinite wisdom, created women with a much greater propensity for sluttiness and carnal lusts than men, and realize that because of that we can tempt men into sinful thoughts without even realizing we're doing so.
"The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough: The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough." Proverbs 30:15-16
"And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her. Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account: Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found. Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions." Ecclesiastes 7:26-29
With this information in mind, I believe that the only way a woman can prevent herself from becoming an unintentional adulteress is by making sure there is absolutely nothing in her attire that can even lead people to believe she's a woman, without wearing clothes that pertaineth to a man and also keeping her head covered for church outings.
I had no idea how to go about doing this, until I came across this image.
And the answer hit me! Why aren't we dressing like this? The long, billowing robes evoke images of gowns while simultaneously covering all the skin, the mask would cover our faces perfectly while reminding people that we are, in fact, women underneath (since no men would need to wear something like this), the walking stick is debateably stylish, and it even comes with a hat for when we enter church!
Most importantly, it isn't one of those weird burka-things Mooslim women wear, but it does serve the same purpose.
What do you ladies think? Is this a possible new uniform for the Ladies of Landover?

Of course I don't want to, but certain sacrifices must be made in order to keep unSaved© men from fantasizing about a True Christian™ lady and thereby making her commit adultery with him.
Think of it as a way of artificially increasing homeliness.

Personally I've found wearing no makeup, an ankle length denim A-frame skirt and oversized baggy T-shirts (pink of course so that they're not mistaken for "mens wear") has worked. Also if you happen to run into a man, slouch forward and keep your eyes on the ground.

I prefer not to borrow ideas from Mudslimes. Men need to see women's faces. It's the only way we can tell if you gals are ugly.

Ladies shouldn't think. When they do, they encourage each other to dress up like witches.

Miss Lycia, your idea on how to avoid adultery with the menfolk is mighty fine, but I was wondering if perhaps there were other options for people who aren't able to get ahold of a bubonic gown?
This Lady Gaga character, as Satanic as she is, is pretty good at donning clothes that don't pertaineth to a man yet still leave her gender in question. Her head is also usually covered. Although some skin might be exposed, the outfits themselves are so ghastly that there is no way a man could ever look at her with lust.
"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;" 1 Timothy 2:9
But would such outfits be modest? Admittedly, when we see such outfits on Gaga, we see them as exuberant displays of whoredom and cheap gimmicks to attract her mindless Satanic drones in the gay community. But, if a True Christian™ woman were to enrobe herself with the same attire for the purpose of deflecting lustful glares, certainly she would be considered modest for her intent, would she not?
I'm wondering if we True Christians™ could take a lesson from Lady Gaga in this one, isolated, agenda-free instance?
Ezra 10:3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.

You have received an infraction for posting pornography on these holy boards. I'm thinking about giving you another infraction for making me inadvertently post porn by quoting you. Shame on you.

I's mighty sorry, Mister Hatchet! Pauletta be keeping her ignorant sixth-grade pre-integration dropout opinions to herself from now on.

Thanks you for this tread Lycia. I was no aware about this things as could be adultery which are unvoluntary.
This has got me a little worry, despite I wear alway the clothes very modest in order for not provoke luxurious desires in the men, but now I'm no so sure I can be so sure on this.
One thing is sure I will be holding my beady eye on the men if they are look me. Nevertheless I at the least know I'm trying be virtuous.
Ex JW and quiet, shy, timid girl who wants to be a True Cristian Lady.
My favorite verse from the Bible is:
- A true WITNESSE deliuereth soules: but a deceitfull WITNESSE speaketh lyes.

I would suggest a tight bun for your hair. For clothing, I would suggest buying some clothes that are a few sizes too big, so your body would not be clearly seen under the clothes. I would also recommend dresses over skirts, because skirts can fall down!! I'm sorry for posting this last part, but it's better to be warned.
"Let the women learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." (I Timothy 2:11-14)

I'm sorry about the picture, it is the only one I could find on my husband's computer, and my hair is Godlessly loose.

I usually carry some of these handy ampoules with me; folded into a handkerchief (or similar) they can be readily popped and are very effective in repulsing unwanted attention.

These are great bits of advice for any woman. Frankly, this is why women should not be in the workplace, the market, or anywhere else she is not directly serving her husband or bearing children.
