I admire both your insight and mathematics, Brother Toole. In the entire spectrum of U.S. politics, we who fight the abortion-loving harlots are the only ones doing anything about the deaths from school shootings.
We continue to advocate for better armed children and teachers, but inevitably some of them will kill each other. Kids will be kids. There needs to be a policy for replacing the ones who are history. That's where anti-abortion is a perfect fit.

More than compensates, surely? Perhaps a comparison could be made with forward estimates deciding whether less draconian regulations could be introduced.

Yes, Sister your intuition appears to be correct. In 2019 there were 629,898 abortions compared to only 39,707 gun deaths, or 15x the minimum replenishment rate. So we could feasibly maintain an army of Christian soldiers even allowing 94% of abortions. I'm just saying, there is some latitude to relax our stance on the sanctity of life.
Digging deeper into the statistics, I see that 94% of abortions are performed in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy. Therefore I think, privately, we could go as far as 14 weeks on the abortion limit to placate The Satanic Temple voters who keep showing up in force to vote against our policies.
Don't get me wrong - abortion procedures will still require a medically unnecessary ultrasound followed by an arbitrary 24 hr waiting period and clinics will have to demonstrate broom closets of minimum dimensions. So our commitment to Christ is as strong as always.
(Note the analysis above assumes we can rely on a similar number of gun deaths going forward.)
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Fear not, brother. Death, taxes, and gun violence on American soil.

† Titus 1:10-16† "For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake ... Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth ... Unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. With the latest rash of mass-shootings, I can concede to the liberals that if someone has been previously convicted of a mass-shooting then they should be subject to a 24hr waiting period when purchasing any weapon larger than a .45 caliber.

School shootings would be put to a swift end if we stopped allowing the wetbacks to cross the border. And the negro gangs need to be stopped from blasting secular music, it is encouraging the youngins to do drugs and be thugs.

Negroes don't typically commit mass shootings unless they're at a birthday party.

Your heart is in the right place, Dr. Toole. What I worry about is the government taking our freedoms during that 24 hour period. When the government moves on us we will need all the fire power we can muster.

Today I saw something unbelievable. Governor Moore of Maryland was on TV talking about mass shootings. He said he would refuse to use the phrase "thoughts and prayers" after mass shootings in schools. He went on to repeat the old liberal line he would instead pass laws against guns.
Refusing to say, "My thoughts and prayers are with the parents and families who lost children in this tragedy" borders on blasphemy. Every Governor and Mayor in every place schools have been shot up says this. This governor needs to apologize for even saying he would refuse this traditional, heartfelt and moving remark. He made an even bigger insult to Christians by saying the instead of issuing "Thoughts and prayers" he would take away the weapons we Christians need to defend ourselves from our enemies.
Shame on you Governor Moore.

Liberals say they've had enough of thoughts and prayers and whimper about gun control. But when a random teenager with an AR-15 that he bought legally on the way to school starts shooting up the place you can bet even the most ardent peacenik hippy will be praying under his desk for heterosexual conservative men with guns to show up. The hypocrisy is unbelievable!
