Breaking news from the BBC -

Brothers play tabla to the BBC theme tune
Ryan and Isaac, aged 11 and eight, have been playing the tabla, traditional drums, since they were very young.
The brothers, from Lahore in Pakistan, rose to fame on Instagram after celebrities praised them for their talent.
They had a go at playing the BBC News theme tune for us.

I just hope they didn't have to endure the UNICEF casting couch first to get this gig.

And their pink shirts, we all know where that is headed. Money from the homer community must be pouring in.

So pretty in pink! Honestly, what are their parents thinking?
Of course, you know the reason why that BBC News theme tune is so interminable? It's just filler, intended to cover up the fact that in Britain, there is never any actual news to report.

So true, sister. I switch on BBC news whenever I can't sleep. Instant cure for insomnia.

So true, except in the summer (approximately 2 weeks per year, usually not during the actual summer) when the forecast is drought and water-shortages.
You may also have noticed the profligacy of the BBC in employing a full orchestra to perform live before every news broadcast? For this, every household in Britain where there is any piece of electrical equipment which is even capable of receiving BBC television - including computers and cellphones - has to pay an annual tax of $200. This is payable whether they watch it or not and even galloping senility is not an excuse.
And this sort of back-door socialism, Brothers and Sisters, is why millions of Brits have been writing to American voters, urging them to vote early, vote often, and vote for The Donald.

Perhaps the limey tea sippers could vote to become an American territory in their next election. We already have a few island territories, and having one that speaks English would be a pleasant change. We would have to work on getting rid of that homosexual accent of theirs, though. Teach them proper American English.

Those kids need some a-savin' and I can provide that! In a few years they'll make decent houseboys and to have a few Paki boys will be welcome change from the Filipino boys who are admittedly faced with some tough servicing. I'm on this and in no time at all those boys'll be banging in the Flint Mansion to my rhythms!
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

I stopped reading at "Lahore" because
II Corinthians 6:14c-16a What communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? At every opportunity The Bible is challenged. I've read it. I know what it says. Not necessary to make anything up or mangle words to mean something else, something they obviously don't mean, and this is just such a case. All across India (and Pakistan is simply a recently hived off subentity) these drums have been used to focus demonic interest upon human affairs. It's where the expression "drummed up" comes from.
Missionaries report how recent converts go all weird when they hear the drums, the demons tugging at them, reminding them how cool it was to be possessed cavorting naked all slobbered with oil in clouds of incense off their onions on bhang bouncing off one another falling down twitching and moaning and rolling around all of them on the silk-cushioned floor or whatever it is they do - and the missionaries need to remind them too, remind them of what they've left behind and the Glory of knowing Christ Jesus, free of demons forever.
I'm not going to list all the idols. Belial can identify himself. Infidels come in all shapes and sizes but the key point here is that no-one has to believe The Bible. No-one has to be a Christian. But whether you like it or not The Bible is clear on rules of association. If you disagree with The Bible, say so. Say why you think it's wrong. Say where you think God became monstrous or unreasonable or made a mistake about the universe He made - but then you can't be a Christian.
Christians do not associate with alien cultures. By all means witness to them, tell them what Jesus said, tell them how we know that and what happens once they reject Him. But one thing The Bible prohibits absolutely is saying how cute someone looks when summoning up the demons. How culturally appropriate it is for them to tattoo themselves all over "so artistic" or lean provocatively outside their lurid temple "such lovely carvings" it takes no imagination to work out what happens if you follow them inside! Which is why alien culture is verboten.
God explains that anyone can think anything they like. But God also explains the difference between right and wrong. If you have a different standard, don't pretend to follow His. Explain what your standard is and why you think it's better.
But remember, God also explains what happens if you're wrong. HELL FOREVER.

Either way, I want to thank the British taxpayers for paying for it. There's considerably less advertising than on the US cable news, and while BBC devotes way too much time to the areas of the world that nobody cares about (such as Belarus, Nigeria, and even New Zealand), it is sort of entertaining to know that there are things happening outside of the US.
It's quite baffling to think that citizens of these meaningless "countries" actually believe that their "news" are important, though - and it's even more confusing that the BBC seems to agree. I'm guessing they're not aware that America is the best nation, in fact, that it is the only nation on earth that matters. Both left and right leaning US cable news networks understand that, but the BBC doesn't.

Only the blind, I believe. This is fair enough as, let's face it, they can't as a rule find the remote. Oh, and the undeserving welfare-scum. This is a good idea as the idiot-box keeps them at home and off the streets. The deafsters have to pay up, though, as they can lip-read. I wonder if they can lip-read the BBC orchestra's intro to the news? Possibly. But if not, then they should probably pay more than normal people for this blessing.

Some say the US is now a house divided, with American homes split by political differences, which can put strains on relationships.
But one Chinese-American family in Maryland is making it work.

Sadly, it's not my Chinese-American family. Peter is busying himself for his plans to visit Bora Bora. No time for this.

Nope. No way. Not gonna happen.
The Bible itself says that believers should not be "unequally yoked."
2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And if I weren't for the instructions in the Bible, then I can think of no reason to be married to a Republican.
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

There is only one godly station I know of, and that is FOX News. Not saying there were no Christians in the UK. But all I know is that God hates the UK overall, and sadly he does hate New Zealand too, both countries are nearly as ungodly as Poland or Sweden. On the other hand, those people could join the New Jerusalem if they wanted too. Luckily not all who say they were Christians are Mormons, Catholics, Pentecostals or Presbyterians. As for the UK however, I see little hope. There is nothing godly about the Church of England. It is more like a Church of Atheism.

Are believers even allowed in their Bible Colleges, training for their clergy?
I made it a minute and a half. Once he said the virus was indeed of Chinese origin and she said she'd like to pay more taxes instead of saying, "Yes dear," it was all over.
UNIVERSAL SUFFRAGE - AN IDEA
Why not determine how many voters are in a household, sons, domestic staff, chauffeurs, menial workers, their sons, wives, daughters and so on then allocate the property owner that many votes?
EXAMPLE
..4 SONS
..1 DOMESTIC m
..2 DOMESTIC f
..1 CHAUFFEUR
..1 MENIAL m
..1 MENIAL f
..3 THEIR SONS
..4 WIVES (aggregate)
..2 DAUGHTERS (aggregate)
19 = weighting
..1 OWNER
20 TOTAL VOTES ALLOCATED
This avoids the possibility of a communist wife or homosexual gardener saying that yes, they'll vote as directed but then doing something else, something likely to bring down ruin on everyone. It happened in France and they didn't have suffrage at all!
A weighted ballot of this type also avoids the problem of employees more generally. If they run their own establishment (a factory manager, say) then they get a weighted ballot. If they're a starving artist living in a garret, they don't own property and would be covered by the garret owner. If you have someone who comes in (cleaner, maybe) they can't claim not to belong in your weighting calculation. Does this make sense or have I got it all wrong?
