There is a verse in the New Testament that says Homosexuality is wrong, but it doesn’t stop there. It goes on to talk about all the other sins that are wrong, like adultery.

People quote Leviticus 20:13 and yet they do not realize that The Old Testament does not apply to us anymore because part of the reason why Jesus came was to fulfill that. He was the perfect lamb that was sacrificed so that we don’t have to do that every time we sin.

This is how I know that you are not a True Christian™. Jesus died on the cross so that when we become Christian our sins are wiped away. If we are truly Saved®, then it is literally impossible for us to continue sinning (see my post from earlier this evening for relevant Scripture; I do not feel that I should have to repeat myself because you can't be bothered to read before posting). If we continue to sin, then we were never Saved® in the first place.

Furthermore, the Old Testament is in full effect. Aside from a few dietary restrictions and laws about animal sacrifice (Acts 10:9-16, Hebrews 10:4-14), the Law from the Old Testament is still valid. Or do you think Heaven and Earth have passed?

But if you want to toss out the Law forbidding homosexuality, where are you going to stop? Should we also throw out the 10 Commandments? Should we throw out the prohibition against bestiality? Could you cite the scripture where True Christians are instructed to save people that lead lives of abomination? I'm kind of new here, but I've joined to specifically comment on this section of the forum. For quite a while now I've know myself to be homosexual, however I never act upon such urges nor intend to. As I personally study biology, physiology, and chemistry I don't believe homosexuality as anything more than a chemical imbalance.

I did mention I am abstinent, and that is because, I still attend sermons every Sunday, volunteer at the local church, and for all intents and purposes, I am a Christian.

But what seems to escape me, is the cause of such a fervent hatred in what should merely be a live and let live situation. As I see it, the whole situation is just another sin of the flesh, so if I'm not to engage in sexual activity of that sort, why should I be damned? God will not allow those who seek such forbidden fruit into the kingdom of heaven, so why must the Christian community engage the damned? Why not just let them go to hell?

A little clarity would be greatly appreciated.
