Okay, so we don't know much about him, but we do know that he believes electrocution cures homosexuality, which puts him ahead of 99.9% of doctors, who are electrocure denialists.

Brother Mike has a serious choice ahead of him. It's tough to make the right call - should we be totally complacent, thinking of Coronavirus as just another news item sandwiched between celebrity scandals and disasters in far-off upronounceably-named pickaninny-populated Tsunami-magnets? Just something to talk about at the water cooler?

Or, should we panic, whatever "panic" means in this scenario, as far as I know it involves the same as above only now we spread twitter-rumors with ALL CAPS.

So it's either "trust the government, as we apparently already do" or "buy my prepper gear - buy 9 bodybags and get the 10th free!".

Tough call. If only there was some sort of in-between stage, a missing link if you will. Some science-nerd doctors are giving their advice, but who trusts them? The way Brother Pence handled homer diseases, letting lots of them die, gives us encouragement about how he will handle this new little problem, cornrovirus. We can predict he will use it as a teaching opportunity. Sinners will learn punishment awaits and Brother Pence will rejoice.

I like it that the President will instruct Brother Pence as to what information will be given to the public. If the case numbers mount it will hurt the economy and the stock market. Remember folks, the real pandemic here is a pandemic of panic, and by panic I mean people doing things more intense than prayer and seeing how long they can go without touching their face (I'm up to 34 seconds now!).

We need a stimulus package that allows local governments to provide free testing, buy hotels or other places where people can be quarantined and monitored if positive, test the close contacts of the infected, etc...

No we don't. We need more prayer.

Problem is that they have to test that it is safe in humans. And this takes time. Even though this vaccine was created (by a private, capitalist market process) in record time, it'll take over a year to go through the approval process.

Perhaps we could test it on death row inmates....is it better to watch millions of innocents die than sneeze on a serial killer? False choice, praying is better than both.

We have something like six or seven vaccines (at varying levels of progress) last time I checked.
