We are to be servants to God. In the KJV servant translates as slave. Women are to submit and serve their husbands as they would God. It's pretty simple if you actually read it.

Actually the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts are much different. In Hebrew, the word "submit" does not mean to be a servant or slave. It means to support. And the verse before that it says that the wife and husband are to "submit" to EACH OTHER. Meaning to support one another and do things for each other. The King James Version has quite a few interesting words they use in place of the original Hebrew and Greek, so people take them out of context all the time. Since the King's translators didn't know what words to use in place of the Hebrew text, sometimes they inserted their own. Marriages are built on love, as Christ loves us.

I would not get into a scripture battle with the Pastor if I were you. I know my Bible pretty well, and he can preach circles around me.

I love getting beaten up by my husband as often as possible... but not the way and for the reasons and the 'love' you state.
I love handcuffs, I love getting beaten up, I love anal and I love all those things that make you clutch your pearls and still, I find you disgusting.
So I guess you also approve of slaves trade (sadly not the sexual kind of slaves), want to impale homosexuals (and not the right way) and just hate all humans, right? Good luck praising a God that is supposed to be lovingly and who tends to damn people as obtuse as you are.
It's people like you that makes America such a horrible, thank God I'm not American and I'm not a disgusting, hypocrite type of Christian you are!

Sir, you might be a pastor but you're so ignorant of the religion and the scriptures you preach is an abomination seeing how people are lead by someone like you.
I hope the God you distort to fulfill your aggressive, possessive and destructive desires give you salvation when the day comes to judge you and your life.

Oh, so you know more about Christianty that a Pastor? This from a pervert who fouls the love God gave us.
What did you do, read this:
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

After I finished I went into the bedroom and she was putting her makeup on. She asked where I was and I told her I was working in the garage and she said I checked the garage and you weren't in there. I told her I must have been in the corner where she couldn't see me.
She asked if everything was ok, and that she noticed I had ordered a Bible from Amazon. I told her that I was reconsidering my views on God and there were going to be some changes in our house. I told her that she was going to have to leave or sell her company, we were going to start going to Church and she was to stay home to cook, clean and homeschool the kids. And keep in mind the whole time she's looking at me like I'm crazy and I'm feeling disrespected in my own house. I got around to Halloween and how we would not be observing it anymore and that pumpkin pies were not to be made anymore. I told her it had to stop.
She looked me in the eye and said "Are you out of your mind?!?" and that's when God himself spoke to me and said "This is your house, I am your God and she is your wife, CONTROL HER!"
I'm ashamed to admit it but I hesitated, I didn't know what to do. That's when I felt Him enter my body and felt my hand raise up from my side. The back of my hand connected with her cheek and she screamed "What the f@*% is wrong with you?!!!" Again, as if acting on it's own my arm swung out again and hit her in the face and she was silent, crying on the bed where she had fell.
After a few moments I asked her if she understood the changes we would be making and she nodded yes, never looking up at me. I said "Good, now I've worked up an appetite, why don't you go make some lunch." She replied that we didn't have anything to make and asked if she could go to the store and I said that was fine. She then asked if she could take the kids with her as they haven't been outside all day and that it would give me some peace and quiet to study my Bible.
I feel our talk was very productive and that she understands her role as she asked me permission to leave the house. And I feel overjoyed that God himself entered me and filled me with his Love and showed me firsthand how to deal with a disobedient wife. But most importantly I feel I have the proof I've spent my whole life searching for. God took control of my body and spoke to me personally!! I feel so blessed that he chose to reveal himself to me.
The wife should be home any minute now, she's been gone an hour and a half, I don't know what's taking her so long. I guess we were very low on food so she had a lot to buy. Thanks for reading, I just wanted to share the progress I've made!

No they are not. Bible tells us that the head of the woman is the man. So woman is there to serve man.

If men and women are equal then why did God put a different monetary value on them?
Leviticus 27
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation.
3And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
4And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.
5And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
6And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver. 7And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
I know God wouldn't let me believe in Him if He didn't exist.

Dear Godmocking Whore;
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule of worshiping satan and spreading your legs for anyone with a dollar to post this hateful message. The Holy Bible tells us that we are actually Blessed by your persecution! Thanks for proving that we're right.
Quote:
Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Enjoy hell. I know that Jesus and I can't wait to watch you burn in hell for all eternity. Oh, how we'll laugh at you as you scream in agony! Shout Glory!!
YIC,

Well you have a point there, but the Holy Bible does tell us that women need to be subjugated by men.
Quote:
1 Peter 3:1
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands.

Re: I hit my wife for the first time -

I could not believe my eyes when reading all the women-beating supporters words on this thread. This is nothing short of barbaric and medieval practice by bunch of people who proudly called themselves believers and claiming have absolute moral compass to guide their lives. However torturing their wive is considered godly ( )
Starting with Joseph MacManus's story for beating his wife due to questioning his unexpected and sudden extreme upcoming changes on the family. I was stunned, on how easy you laid your hand to one you love and been lived with you for years simply because she's questioning you??? Hey Macmanus, Are you sure it was God who spoke to you to hit her not satan?? Or maybe it's the best time for you to visit psychiatrist?
It's amazingly difficult for my sense to express my approval on one of members who narrating his story cold-bloodily when torturing his wife by dunking her repeatedly, after he was satisfied, he then told her to prepare lunch for him ( ). And other guy who is bequeathed a golden rod by his father to beat her wife ( )...Were you born sadists guys?
Ironically the women whom I red their words here agreed and accepted even defend this blatant unjust teaching against them and scorn other women for not being beaten up by their husbands ( ), simply because bible says the men is head of women, are you sure this verse promoting wife-beating, ladies??? How about if your husbands turning on to the path of Jesus, who will "discipline them lovingly"? Jesus will do the honor? How if the punishment doesn't come right away after he did sin but years later, or in hereafter, are you going to accept the fact your husbands walk free unpunished in this world while they continually beating you in the name of "husband lovingly disciplining"? Is that just for you???
I am dumbfounded each time I read Mrs.Cindy Lou Jenkins post cause it always has Billy Bob: I approve this post line within, I got curious to know more about her, then I clicked on her name and I was directed to the Cindy Lou Jenkins profile and red the information there...wow with all due respect Mrs.Cindy...you've gotta be kidding me for writing those abracadabra. My hunch said it was your husband (Billy Bob Jenkins) who wrote them for you or at least dictated them, he's must be controlling you with his iron fish to put you in the lowest level possible for his pleasure.
Then I am curious on who is his husband, this Billy Bob guy, found out his wife - namely Ethel dead -- dead under mysterious circumstances, the murderers are unknown. Then he said God punished her for her sin by stoning her to death to easily forget his wife and then looking for a new woman to surrender her body and mind to him. I suspect he murdered his wife, police must resort to an intensive investigation to disclose the so-called "mysterious circumstances" case! Sorry for being overreacting, judging the man who openly threw slurs to men as a wimp or a butt-loving sissy for not beating their wive, hence my suspicion is understandable. More importantly, for Mrs. Cindy Lou watch your back please.
