Does the name Bob Vander Plaats ring a bell? It's not someone I've heard of before, and considering his horrid comments about President Trump, he is someone I never want to hear from again!

Bob Vander Plaats, a top evangelical leader in Iowa, told the Blaze’s Steve Deace on Monday that he believes Iowa Republicans “will rise up” against former President Donald Trump when they head to the polls in January.

Vander Plaats endorsed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ® in the 2024 GOP primary last week, raising the ire of Trump, who quickly took to Truth Social to complain.

“Trump deserved to lose my endorsement. Matter of fact, I’ve never endorsed him. But he proved he was not worthy of the endorsement of me, of the ministry, and by extension, the broader body. And I believe Iowa will rise up. I believe I will send a message on January 15th because I think they’re seeing it through this as well. This is smoke and mirrors. This is not leadership our country needs,” he concluded.

This sort of back-stabbing comment is nauseating, to put it mildly. One would think that if someone is a servant of Almighty , then he would support 's favorite candidate for the Presidency: Donald J. Trump!

I think it is times like this when we need to call upon the true patriots and believers, and to defeat such nonsensical ideas that would challenge President Trump's supremacy!

Thank you, Sister. Bob and I have known each other for years. Unfortunately, he is in the liberal Dutch Reform Church. That denomination for decades was a good one in South Africa keeping the country ruled by responsible white people. Then it turned on a dime an helped the communist, Nelson Mandella, get out of jail and become President.

Bob Vander Plaats said he prayed before endorsing Trump's rival, Desanisfied. I think he made another Mandella mistake.
