I am a 22 year old female from Texas. I just graduated from university with a BA in Psychology and am a liberal agnostic.

I was originally raised as a Christian but never felt comfortable living a religious lifestyle.

I have nothing against Christianity personally... I believe any and all forms of religious faith are irrational.

I do believe in what I can see and I do not believe in believing something out of blind faith. I believe in the PROVEN fact of Evolution.

I do not like to slander anyone for their beliefs but I will speak up if I see a moral fallacy in them.

And there is no scientific evidence that marijuana causes any of the above mentioned.

What is your father doing about your fornication? Why do you hate your family so much? You should be married and breeding sons for Jesus, not fornicating and bringing shame to your poor father. Perhaps he didn't beat you enough as a child and that's not your fault but you're a grown woman now and should have had the sense to align yourself with a man who can properly guide your thoughts and correct you when your feelings lead you astray rather than lusting after you as you play the harlot.

My father is fully aware of my living arrangements and approves. He is a good Christian man and he raised me well. He never once has laid a hand upon me because he morally believes it to be wrong to hit a child much less a girl. I am far from a so-called "harlot" and find promiscuity morally repugnant. Just because my beliefs are different fom yours there is no need to judge another person so harshly.

I have read your so-called study and believe it to be pure hogwash. Show me the empirical data and results from the actual study reports.

There is absolutely NO WAY one can contract AIDS through marijuana. It is either contracted by sodomy or shooting up and I highly doubt your "true christians" engage in drug abuse.

Titus 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith

Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

This is why you should take sound rebuke from those who know more of God's will than you.

Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

Sadly some parents allow their children to go to Hell. It's not too late to close your legs for Jesus and repent until you are married and wanting to have babies for God.

I noticed that you said you were originally raised Christian but never felt comfortable living a religious lifestyle. I was hoping that you might expand on that...what does that mean exactly to you?

This is not a debate forum. The purpose of this site is to praise and glorify the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a place for Christians to fellowship and worship. The goal of the Landover Baptist Church forum is to draw people to Jesus Christ because Scripture confirms that salvation comes only through Him.

Luke 6:22 tells us that because we preach the True doctrine of Jesus, men shall hate us and call us evil. So naturally, we expect that folks will get their feathers ruffled by some of the things they have to say, and they will come on here to argue with us. Perhaps we have said something that upset you. Maybe it was something I said. If so, then I am sorry that you are upset, but I do not apologize for what I have said. My words and thoughts come from the Holy Scriptures. I didn't write the Bible -- God did. So if my words upset you, then you don't have a problem with me -- you have a problem with God.

While growing up, I attended Sunday School classes all the way through graduating high school and ever since I was young I just felt strange going to Mass. I felt disconnected to everyone there. I saw in their faces that they truly believed in Christ and I could never make that connection even though I wanted to.

I still attend Mass with my parents whenever I go back home to visit them because they are devout Christians but I always feel like a hypocrite being there since I do not believe in what they believe but they expect me to attend with them so I obey while I am there.
