Testimony -
06-25-2012, 05:58 PM
This is just a little something I wrote. It's called "Testimony". It's not much, but I hope it reaches someone to let them know that if God could change me, He can change them.
I used to be a hot mess girl
Dancing in the clubs
Drinking Bacardi
But that's so far from me
Because I
Accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior
Now I live blessed because of unmerited favor
I used to rock the block
Running from the cops
Dodging bullet shots
I kid you not
I used to live the hot mess story
But since I came to Christ
I live to bring His name glory
I know He went to the cross just for you and for me
Know that He shed His blood so that we could be free
It's amazing that He laid His life down
And then three days later He walked around town
So that nobody could deny who He was
And nobody could deny His true power
And the same God who raised Himself from the dead
Is the same God I choose to serve until the end.
Ezekiel 36:26- A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Not again!
Shouldn't you be out finding a husband!

Pardon me, but what do you mean by "again"? I meant no harm, I just wanted to share a poem that may be able to reach unsaved people. Besides, I'm already working on getting married.

It seems to be a phase a certain type of new female member goes through that we have to listen to their poems instead of being updated very very rarely on their progress towards becoming saved in childbirth.
You really ought to read the Bible and get to grips with how women are actually supposed to behave.

Are you insane? This is a darn family sight and now I have to explain (yet again) about bukkake, snowballing, money shots, the 'swiz nasty', coffee creme parties and conjunctivitis to my young, fresh faced, (crying), limber, nimble young Nephew!
And we are at the dinner table!
Thanks for ruining both our evening meals

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Dear, unless the Good Lord called you to be a missionary's wife, you should leave the "reaching unsaved people" business to the professionals. You give a bad name to Christian women by blathering on like that when you should be busy baking a pie for your man after his long hard day at work.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I will take your Godly rebukes to heart. (I will not be sharing any more poetry here, I have things to do.)

... I think the term means something else for you than what I meant because I have no idea what you're talking about.

Brother Niles is a highly educated man. He often uses words that go over my head as well.

That must be it- he surely seems more educated than me! (although that's not exactly saying much)
