Here is my question. Saul's son Mephibosheth was injured at a very young age and his legs could not move. Once David became King, he gave Saul's son Mephibosheth all of Saul's inheritance. So what I'm wondering is, is it okay to be crippled and handicapped physically, but mentally it is not?

What do you mean skip a generation? All I am saying is the King David gave him Saul's inheritance. Im talking about the part of him being "retarded" (I will refer to it as mentally handicapped so I don't revile). Is it accepted here that someone who is mentally handicapped is curse (like Pastor Ezekiel said)?

What confuses me on believing that the Bible or Jesus says that that is true (that mentally handicapped people are curses) is:

1. Jesus never said anything on that topic from my memory and I've read the gospels of Christ many times.
2. Mephibosheth had a physical handicap problem when he was young yet he became the adopted son of King David.

So to sum everything up simply, does the Bible claim that mental handicap is a curse when Mehpibosheth who was physically handicapped was blessed greatly?
