Oh, how very true this is; and, it's something that so many people overlook. We, as
believers, have a duty and a responsibility unto the
. Spreading the glorious Gospel is hard, serious work. And, while we are not called unto niceness, it isn't like we are not being nice when we are doing
's work. Goodness, gracious! What could be nicer than to be telling people that the price of their sins will take them straight to
(which is where they deserve to be) --
unless they get washed in the cleansing

?!
Matthew 25:46 "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."
Colossians 4:6 "Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man."
And , if not for the very gracious manner in which we have steered so many onto the precious path of salvation -- and to their own, mortgage-free mansion in Heaven -- then, those very people would be burning forever. Now, if that isn't thanks to us speaking graciously, then I don't know what is!
