Super Heroes: Send our children to Hell and destroys their free will! -
05-13-2013, 04:52 AM
There have been many Super heroes throughout fiction. Superman, Batman, Spiderman, The Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man. There is one thing these "heroes" have in common, they are hellbent on destroying freewill, imposing their dictatorial will and standards onto everyone, and destroying God's plan. Let me explain.
Imagine you're a powerful being and you see a women being raped, or someone being assaulted, or someone is being convicted unjustly, what is your response?
A) With great power comes great responsibility. That means using your power to help the innocent and attack the criminals. That means personally intervening and defending citizens and saving lives, even if those citizens don't personally know you.
B ) While you shouldn't attack or injure the criminals, you should still prevent the crime from occurring, which would be easy to do considering how powerful and fast you are.
C) Go in person to tell the criminals what they're doing is wrong, but leave the final decision up to them. Contact the police or the courts later with the evidence so the wrong person doesn't get convicted.
D) Create a set of rules in a bestselling book. When people break those rules, stare down from the clouds disapprovingly. Years later, discreetly gather the criminals up and set them on fire.
The problem is, most of these super heroes fall under options A-C, which completely destroys our free will. Instead of beings with free will, you have robots, with their hands and mouths bound, only pretending to be nice for fear that some powerful being will come down and strike them down.
When a cop wants to catch people for speeding, do they announce that they will be carefully viewing a certain intersection? Of course not, doing so might decrease speeding for that particular intersection, but as soon as they got out of the cop's range, they would speed up again. In the same sense, the crime rate might be lower in Metropoulos with Superman constantly looking over it, ready to strike down anyone who goes against his will, but those criminals will simply go somewhere else, or act nice while they are in Metropoulos.
The genius of God's plan is that He discretely punishes evil. He does it in a way that others do not know they have been punished by God. This allows these other people to maintain their free will and act as they normally would act, and it also leaves them with no excuse when they get caught. Would you really want a super powerful, all knowing dictator arresting you for crimes you MIGHT commit sometime in the future? "Well, you were GOING to murder that women?" or would you rather only people who have already committed crimes be punished?
If everyone knew they would be found guilty in a court of law, it would destroy the free will of rapists, thieves everywhere. It would destroy their opportunity to decide to sin, and if they so choose, repent later.
Now of course, these heroes are all a part of fiction. However, the influence they have on our children very real indeed. They teach our children that there is a better way than God's free will. These "heroes" are spitting in God's face and basically telling God that they know better than He does. They're interfering with His plan. They teach our children to desire to worship these "heroes" and powers in the place of God. They teach our children that there are ways to obtain super strength other than through magic hair granted by God Judges 16:13.
These "heroes" are nothing more than an elaborate plot to push our children further and further away from God until they go against the one and only TRUE hero, Jesus Christ.
Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

Superman is the worst. He even died and came back from the grave, a clear insult to Jesus Christ who did the same thing.
Also he is from another planet, as if there would be planets.
To make matters worse he has a second identity, Clark Kent, who is a liberal journalist attacking everything that is great about America.
As soon as you are successful, you become a target for Superman:
Freedom means voting for Donald Trump!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

Oh man, simply disgusting, but it gets worse than that. There are other "forms" of Superman, one of them being the God mocking, blasphemous Superman Prime.
http://web.archive.org/web/201201130...Superman_Prime
Here is just a sample of some of his abilities.
Quote:
He can manipulate time, space, matter, and bend reality on almost any scale he wishes.
Creation - Superman Prime is able to create lifeforms out of nothing.
Resurrection - Superman Prime can resurrect the dead.
Omniscience - Superman Prime has possibly learned everything in his time in the sun.
Omnipotence - Superman prime has near limitless abilities as far as we can see.
Omnipresent - Superman Prime can be any where at any time.
Immortality - Superman Prime, will live until the end of Reality.

There can be no doubt that Superman was created to mock God, and serve as an idol for children to worship him in replacement of God.
Soon instead of asking "What would Jesus do" they'll ask "What would Superman do?"
Instead of relying on the Bible for a moral standard, they'll rely on comic books for their moral standard.
I can't wait until the writers, authors, and other people involved with the creation of these sinful comic burns are burning in Hell.
Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

I guess the easiest way to start would be from the beginning.
1. So to start out with, you give the example of someone being raped. And in this example a superhero is around. This superhero has the option of intervening and stopping the crime. Your claim is that this intervention stops our freewill and turns us into "robots". How does this argument make sense? In what way does intervening in a crime take away our freewill? Wouldn't it simply stop a criminal from committing a crime, and help an innocent civilian from suffering? It does not take away freewill because The criminal has already committed the crime and made the decision. In no sense whatsoever is he losing his freewill from choosing to commit the crime. You also try to argue against "with great crime comes great responsibility". You claim that also takes away someone's freewill. But isn't that Jesus' parable of the talents? He who is given more, has more responsibility. In the real scenario of a superhero, the person in question has more power. And with it, they stop crime. That is biblical.
2. You argue that this is compared to a police officer announcing that they want to catch people for speeding. But what would be a more equivalent comparison would be to compare it to having police officers at all, because a superhero essentially acts like a police officer. Unless you are proposing that we stop having police officers altogether, people who announce that they are catching and punishing wrongdoers in a court of law, then your argument is essentially invalid.
3. Your last and final argument is that these heroes are "spitting in the face of God" and telling God that they know better than he does. But are you arguing that every single law, rule, or government does this too? Because we have laws, and everyday police officers, like superheroes, try to make sure that people don't rape, kill, or steal from each other. It's not wrong to apply these laws, and doing so does not "spit in the face of god".
