Former Unholy Father Pope Maledict has taken a stab at explaining away the Roman institution's pedophila crisis. Various catlicking sites have posted His Unholiness's essay; I'll link to one of them to avoid accusations that I'm quoting a distorted version.

That is the case with pedophilia. It was theorized only a short time ago as quite legitimate, but it has spread further and further. And now we realize with shock that things are happening to our children and young people that threaten to destroy them. The fact that this could also spread in the Church and among priests ought to disturb us in particular.

Why did pedophilia reach such proportions? Ultimately, the reason is the absence of God. We Christians and priests also prefer not to talk about God, because this speech does not seem to be practical.

So there you have it, folks: The former grand poobah himself admits that kiddy-fiddling has reached such proportions, including such proportions in the Catholic "church," because of the absence of God. As for that last sentence that I quoted, perhaps Catholics and other false Christians "prefer not to talk about God," but we True Christians™ in God's favorite church are more than happy to talk about Him. Can I get an amen?

Note also the reference to pedophilia as something that "was theorized...as quite legitimate." Was theorized by whom? Help me, passive voice; you're my only hope.

How did the Roman institution reach such a state? An absence of God is undeniably correct as a short answer, but Ex-Pope Ratsorizzo provides further details.

Until the Second Vatican Council, Catholic moral theology was largely founded on natural law, while Sacred Scripture was only cited for background or substantiation.

That is, God's words took a back seat to human speculation about natural law.

In the Council's struggle for a new understanding of Revelation, the natural law option was largely abandoned, and a moral theology based entirely on the Bible was demanded.

If only!

I still remember how the Jesuit faculty in Frankfurt trained a highly gifted young Father (Bruno Schüller) with the purpose of developing a morality based entirely on Scripture. Father Schüller's beautiful dissertation shows a first step towards building a morality based on Scripture. Father Schüller was then sent to America for further studies and came back with the realization that from the Bible alone morality could not be expressed systematically. He then attempted a more pragmatic moral theology, without being able to provide an answer to the crisis of morality.

Almighty God cannot get His point across and relies on mere mortals to do so. This is what the Roman institution actually expects you to believe. It's not as though the Bible said anything like this:

So would you rather be in a "church" from which, by its own former leader's admission, God is absent, or one in which He is present? That's an easy enough choice for me.

In a way it makes sense that God has left the building for Catholics. God had to be angry when the Pope took over running the church instead of relying on the Bible.

And sin, think about it. Bingo in Catholic Church basements. Priest impregnating nuns. No wonder God is not present.

Joey Ratzinger is still alive? Shame. I'm sure Satan is just aching to get ahold of that shriveled sinner. And this Nazi pederast already admitted that God has no affiliation with the Catholic "Church" when he quit his job in 2013. They claim that God chooses them for the Papacy, so rejecting His alleged appointment logically ought to be an extreme example of blasphemy. If God really did choose you and you quit after a few years because you were lazy, He would strike you down with great vengeance and furious anger, not meekly allow you to retire to an Italian villa to swill wine and molest altar boys. Their heretical doctrine is so convoluted and contradictory that they can't even make sense of it. If only they'd just stuck to the Holy KJV 1611, they'd be fine.
