Personal attacks are Satan's handiwork. Please refrain. And if you have to ask the question why this Church is special is more proof that you are not worthy.

Well, what makes a Christian? Is it plunking your ass down in a pew a couple of times month, tossing some spare change in collection tray, and listening to some shyster bleat platitudes about how Jesus wants us to love everyone, accept and even respect their different views on life, child rearing, the role of women in society and the church, etc., all of which are completely indefensible when you know what the Bible really says, or is it doing what these people do, living 100% by the Word of God, as revealed in the King James Bible?
No one here is saying that no other church in the world is as good as Landover. What they are saying is that, despite vast effort, they haven't found one. If you locate a church that follows the Bible perfectly (like Landover), then I can't see them objecting to you donating your money there rather than here.

Landover Baptist Church follows the LORD's Holy Bible 100%, without condition, without excuse. We make no apologies for our devotion to the Holy Bible, our attention to detail, and our responsibility to convert the entire world (Matthew 28:19). In this way, Landover Baptist Church can guarantee Salvation. That's not a trivial thing to have, considering one day you will stop living and face your eternal destiny. If you can find another church that offers the same, please do share. It would be nice to know where other True Christians™ can be found.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

You are the second person today to use 'ignorant' as a noun rather than an adjective, whilst proclaiming your own cleverness. Which just goes to show.
Kindly refrain from personal attacks. The mullet is a Godly hairstyle, and should be respected as such.

You're not racist against people with Mullets? Why do you attack my wop friend? You sound pretty racist to me.
And exactly what does "I was, and am, legitamitely curious why to just your church"? Are you on drugs or do you stutter?
What about other Christian churches?? They're liars. Do you know another Christian Church that has actual videotape of Christ walking on water? I didn't think so.
You are the racist one. You make accusations without evidence of proof. You are either a crack whore or a drunken spic. How dare you make unfounded accusations against us pig.

First, mullets aren't a race. It's a hairstyle. Apparently a godly one, something I was not aware of.
Second, no I am not on drugs and neither do I stutter. I simply used different tenses to indicate a past interest that has continued into a current one.
Third, is that video online? I'd honestly love to see it!

I, for one, don't NEED to see it. If brother Deaner says it exists, then it exists! I think your name should be Doubting Thomas..

I give 100% of what I can to Landover. I get back 250%. Win-Win
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

While I acknowledge that God owns all things and is sovereign over them, and that withholding tithes and offering from God is tantamount to robbing God (Malachi 3:8-10), where in the NT does it say that believers should give ten percent of their income to the church? Does the NT place emphasis on what might called grace giving? That is, to freely give as we have freely received (2 Corinthians 8:12). I've been led to believe that God is not interested in our money until He first has our hearts, for only when we have given ourselves to the Lord will we have a proper prospective on money (2 Corinthians 8:5).

Brother Hutchins, you are an inspiration to everyone who genuinely seeks the Truth!

Brother Hutchins is indeed a fortunate man.
I myself give only half of what I earn, but I take comfort in knowing that this was enough to save Zacchaeus and his house:
Lukas 19:8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
Lukas 19:9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
In fact this has always been one of my favorite Bible quotes ever since I read "Picture Stories from the Bible" as a young boy. I've still got my copy although it has become a little dog-eared from many years of reading.

1st Corinthians 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
1st Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
1st Corinthians 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
