That's because the liberals want everyone to respect Muslim cultures, and in Iran the Muslim culture requires wearing the hijab, and so women breaking this cultural rule are disrespecting Muslim culture and therefore offending other members of the community.

CAN YOU GUESS THE MISSING LETTERS ?
We know that any revolting ideology may contain within it sound tenets, albeit of very limited (if any) influence. For example, under communism, theft was illegal. That didn't prevent people from stealing auto accessories (such as windshield wipers) but more importantly, due to the distorting lens of that dystopian creed, ALL property was considered theft and the sanctions were extreme. Unless you were the one applying the sanctions: then it was golden palaces, big fat limos and special lanes on the freeway just for you. Holiday homes on the Black Sea. English homosexuals laid on. Exotic commie spies needing training on how to seduce targets once out in the field, i.e. U.S.A., so very arduous keeping everything together.
There was a time when I'd never heard about the hijab, burqa, niqab and so on; there's quite a few styles. Mohammed was a name I'd heard, Buddha, Hare Krishna, The Báb, Guru Nanak, various idiotic popes, occasionally an archbishop of Canterbury. I'd heard of John Wesley and the Japanese god-emperor – but I'd never heard what offended them. If I visited their country, I'd pay attention, not wishing to cause offence, pretty easy really. All of that still applies except for one group: it doesn't care what offends me but expects me never to offend it.
There is always a danger in exporting technology. Aircraft are good examples, whether military or civilian the risk of something going wrong is always there. It was the liberals who loathed the free Iran, its centrist ruler (centrist by west Asian standards that is) and everything that went with it. Property ownership was rampant, you could even get a champagne cocktail or a cool beer. Liberals found all this very offensive and couldn't be happy until everyone else was offended too. They achieved this with a single restoration, a culturally appropriate tyrant, and one tragic flight as depicted above. And right there we see the danger of exporting technology. Someone else will get hold of it and do things you'd never dream of. To find the missing letters, by viewing the exported aircraft from another angle, tap or click the croissant [below] for a not altogether unexpected surprise.
