As Brother Jenkins explained, we improvise any method of control to re-educate and conquer. If the Bible had to
specifically mention everything it authorized, it would be ten miles thick and impossible to read.
For instance, it tells us explicitly that homosexuals are worthy of death (Romans 1:26-32), as well as implicitly on matters such as abortion (Proverbs 6:17), that we can congregate in rooms of a house (Acts 1:13), or that we can attend general social functions (I Cor. 10:27), etc.
In the case of guns, Luke 22:36:
"now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." Had guns existed in Jesus' time, He would have had His disciples marching across the lands with M16s and AR15s, conquering in His Name (Acts 1:8) like we do today.
