Even if it was a cut-and-paste article from Wikipedia.
It still proved my point.

Some documents do indeed exist of paganism, and records have been kept. Mythology, for example, can be closely tied with paganism, can it not? Mythology is very well documented, whether it be Roman, Greek, Norse, ect. However, many documents, either no longer exist, or have never been found. Also, during the time of the druids, NOTHING was written down, rather they were oral traditions. So, old pagan traditions were re-established to the fullest extent possible. Just because something isn't written on paper doesn't mean it isn't accurate with old traditions. Look at the Buddhists. Originally, nothing the Buddha taught was written down on paper. It was merely spoken, taught orally by the Buddha. But, the Buddha's first students sat down and created a book of the Buddha's teachings later on. Does it include everything they taught? We can't be sure. Is it everything that is important? Almost definitely. Just because it wasn't written by the originals, doesn't mean it is a fraud.

Wikepedia is liberal biased site and utterly unacceptable as a source of information.
I prefer Conservapedia
http://www.conservapedia.com/Theistic_Satanism
Quote:
Theistic satanists worship Satan, the evil enemy of God. [1] Satanists are in the belief that they are right and God shall be smited. There is no particular form or text of this worship that has survived to our day. The modern Church of Satan uses the name, but is not the 'religion'.
Theistic Satanists frequently perform sacrifices in his name and engage in other sinful acts such as fornication, sacrificial killings and prostitution. They hope that, after the Battle of Armageddon, he will be victorious and that "evil" will rule.
Theistic Satanism is not to be confused with The Church of Satan.

Well that shoots down your arguement.

You certainly have a good point, but the argument was origionally "there is no True Paganism" or whatever the hell. I'm just tired of trying to prove it to these knumbskulls, you know?

and no, satanists do NOT kill things in the name of their god! Perhaps if you read Satanic litterature, that would be more apparent to you.
And what you also fail to know is that the church and the theistic part of the religion are two sepperate things and that do not vouch for one another.
I guess you can say I am a manifestation of the two in a sort of "complete being" of spiritual growth.

This conservapedia? It sounds to me like an uneducated christian propaganda machine, as I suspected.
You cannot expect a person to anylize any other religion unless they were once a part of such religion, or has studied the dogma or doctrine of said religion.

From what I quote the theistic part is extinct, like paganism. Going by your little groups own writings all that is left is some kind of self-worship cult. Doubtless very entertaining for teenagers with low images who want to puff themselves up as something big and scary.
I’m not impressed.

Once again, you do not know this to be true. You only know what you have been taught by the people you live around and associate with. The people who have the exact same theories you do. You have absolutely no outside source of information from the actual worshipers you hate so much.
Unlike you, I know several people who hold the same beliefs I do. There are many Pagans and Wiccas and Satanists all across the world...
the U.S.
the U.K.
Sweeden
Norway
Germany
Russia
Japan
Spain
virtualy all over the world. Although there aren't many of them, they still exist and the religions are still active to this day.
There is no arguing that point.

What kind of a pathetic idiot would name his cult "Satanism" and then claim not to believe in Satan or God?
What point is there to call yourself "Satanist" when you don't believe in Satan?
If you DO believe in Satan, then you know that God created him, and will destroy him (as aptly pointed out elsewhere in the thread).
Are you some sort of a retarded, or just a teenage loser with no self-esteem trying to be "badass"?
Edit: No, seriously, which is it?

Oh god! Here we go again...
Okay, let me slow this down for those of you who are sort of "literately retarded"
I AM A SATANIST. I BELIVE IN GOD AND SATAN. SATAN IS MY GOD AND VICE VERSA. I BELIEVE THAT THE DEFENSE "GOD MADE SATAN" IS A MOOT POINT. PEOPLE WHO KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT SATANISM ARE NOT ENTITLED TO CRITISIZE IT.
CULTISTS AND SATANISTS ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. CULTISTS ARE VIOLENT, SATANISTS ARE NOT. WEATHER YOU ARE THEISTIC OR NON-THEISTIC SATANIST, IT IS ALL THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL, JUST DIFFERENT DOCTRINES.
EMPTY ACCUSATIONS HAVE NO WAVER OVER ME.
By the way, sweetheart. I am a 20 year old man who has a family and lives a good life as a musician. I have a son and a beutiful wife.
I don't want to hear anymore of your blah-dee-blah about what you think of me.
Thank You.

I don't have a problem with christians. I am friends with a few of them. They don't ridicule me and I don't ridicule them.
I do however have a problem with puritans. They sicken me, but, whatever.

Satan is a "Fallen Angel". Angels are extensions of God, like a limb. Basically Satan is a sock puppet of God's He puts on to punish sinners.
Nice going dummy-butt worshiping Satan.

We understand a lot more than you give us credit for. We True Christians™ were all sinners once, so we're familiar with the basics. As far as Satanism goes, you think we don't have agents planted in your organization, collecting facts and taking names? The tendrils of Landover's intelligence operations stretch from the Oval Office to very nearly Hell itself. So don't think we aren't keeping an eye on you.

I’ve plowed through this thread and basically there was the ludicrous claim that paganism pre-dated Christianity. I would ask how that could be when God Created the Earth 6000 years ago at which time the first man ever was Christian. We see in the Old Testament that various tribes and individuals are slaughtered by God for worshipping false gods. It is thus clear that those gods arose after Christianity.
Then we move on to stemmen fra taarnet (Voices from the Tower) and the Clarke Kent (???) who claims to worship satan. Now apart from the obvious question of “why?” (said in a voice of astonished amazement.) God created the angels (else where were they?) Tradition (but not the Bible) has it that satan is a fallen angel. Regardless therefore of choosing the side that specializes in boiling pits of brimstone and flesh peeling, Voices from the Tower/ Clarke Kent has chosen to back the lesser of two beings.
There is little if any reliable documentation on what satan wants of a person (other than his immortal soul) and thus the worship of satan will be via the rabid scribblings of the lunatic fringe of medieval peasants, and as such, unreliable.
I return to the obvious question of “why?”: because they thinks it is big and clever to say, “Ooo, look at me, I worship satan,” as they mince over to a pentacle. And that is the long and the short of it.
VfT/ Clarke Kent - get a grip of yourself (or if you have a grip of yourself, stop doing it because it displeases The Lord.) You seriously need to read the Bible (KJV1611), there’s more in that Book than you found in all the books you ever read.

Sorry, cutting-and-pasting a book and then claiming victory isn't either a way to debate (though this is a Christian Church forum, not a debate forum) nor is it a way to explain something.
I asked you to point out where in that drivel you had evidence for what the pagans you claim to follow did, in the centuries gone by. You have not done so, and to be honest, I have better things to do than dig through an information dump from a child to see if there's anything but horse poop in it.

Shouldn't that be "Oh, satan"?
If you don't want to hear what Christians think of you pathetic, mama's-basement-dwelling, loser "satanist-wannabes", perhaps you shouldn't try to post your idiocy on Christian Church forums. All you're doing is attempting to shock us. Guess what? We've heard it ALL before.
