My Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Today is the day we give special thanks to God for all He provides, praise Him! I just love to point out to unsaved scum how clear His Word is in all matters.

Romans 14:6 "He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks."

We have an 18 pound bird in the oven and the aroma is overwhelming. Of course it's only the two of us this year, so we will probably just carve out the breasts and throw the rest away. God truly provides us with all of our needs.

Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Then lots of rest. We'll need to be at Walmart at the crack of dawn tomorrow to make sure we get this oustanding nativity scene for the lawn. I hope they have stocked up for the demand.

Psalm 100:4-5

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Our Turkey is 16.5 lbs this year, it would have weighed in at 20 but....there was a bit of incident. This year I decided to let the boys dispatch the turkey, let's just say I am glad animals don't feel pain. Bit of a mess, having the wife clean it up so the boys and I don't lose our appetites.

While our wives are cleaning up after supper, feel free to drop over and have some cigars and brandy - it's not like we have anything better to do on this blessed holiday!
