In my wedding I wear something quite simple, and of course I was completely virgin at the moment
The only difference is that I was more smiling, I must to, because that day finally I made my parents proud by giving them a married daughter, and the next year I gave them that two pretty grandaughters

Dear Sisters,
I really hate to dredge up an old thread, but I am getting married sometime soon - my father has not yet set the date, and I am starting to look at dresses. I am a brunette, 5'6," slender, and with skin almost as white as new snow, as my profile picture will show. Can you offer a suggestion for a dress?

Something like this, but with sleeves, and the bodice fully lined (I think they must have run out of lining material) would suit you, I think:
Make sure you have a full veil too.

If there's one thing I know, it's fashion. I will send you a private message containing Arturo's number in Beverly Hills. He's going to set you up with whatever you wish, and put it on my account. I won't take no for an answer. Just give the glory to God.
PS: This includes bridesmaids and dresses for the mothers. Don't go choosing some $1 a yard material, either, hon. You choose what you want. Take the suggestions of the ladies that may still respond and incorporate them into what YOU want. God has blessed me. Let me pay it forward.

Dear Miss Lamb,
Thank you so much and God bless your generosity! Proverbs 19:17. You are so kind and generous to me, a definite :True Christian:. By far, you are the most generous woman I know and my mother and father send you their love and appreciation. Proverbs 11:24. I will make sure my dear soon-to-be husband, lord, and master will (1 Peter 3:6) knows of you and your most generous contribution to our marriage. If my husband and you permit it, if I end up giving birth to a girl instead of a boy, may I name her after you?
Yours in Christ,
Elizabeth

I think the wedding dress is the ultimate symbol of purity and goodness in women; friend Elizabeth, I hope you find a modest wedding dress that highlights your self-control.
Timothy 2:9 says: Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire,

Ladies, what do you think of these five below? Please offer your opinions.
A) Is there too many decorations on it?
Does the ribbon draw too much attention to the bodice?
C) Should my dress have long sleeves
D) I don't like the square neckline, but I like the rest of the dress.
Thanks for your feedback. Titus 2:3-5.
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed."

I can't get the photos to link, so I have the questions below.
1) Should the dress have any color but white? I don't think so, since white is the color of virgins. Just confirming...
2) How long should the sleeves be?
3) May my dress have any decorations?
4) What is a good length of the neckline to not tempt anyone?

Re: Wedding Dress DONT'S & DO'S -

Please bear in mind 1Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
It should not be a costly exercise - that is for the vain and profligate. It can cause a man to flee from the altar thinking that your expectations of him are beyond the realistic.
1) the dress should only be white. Don't contemplate any other colour, not even cream
2) I think for a summer wedding in a hot climate, short sleeves are acceptable as there is nothing more ugly than a bride with wet rings under her armpits. In cooler climes and in winter, the sleeves should come to the wrist.
3) No pearls or gold (see above)
4) There should be no hint of any cleavage and no glimpse of the upper part of breasts. I think at least a couple of inches above those parts.

Here is a beautiful picture of a bride. She is even praying!

Grace Kelly. Abandoned the Land of the Free to become a papist royal oppressor. In that photo, she's praying to Mary.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Should have prayed to the patron saint of women drivers instead!

Sister Mary, I think she is praying for forgiveness. She looks as if she is asking the Lord to forgive her for leaving America. Possibly asking the Lord to give her a second chance and make a way for her to return to the USA.

Bit late to give some advice but please do listen:
1. The wedding dress should only be the highest shade of white, so similar to what Mo7 said; no cream or ivory. It must be white. Believe me, it shows, even if it has a hint of off white then you are basically saying you're a slut.
2. Long sleeves are more attractive for a woman. What man wants to see a lady's arms? If it is hot, wear cooler fabric. It is my humble belief that a woman should stay modest no matter the weather.
3. It is very slutty to draw attention to your breasts. They are there to please your husband and feed your sons, not to show off like some prostitute. Remember that your body is not your own.
4. Women are worth very little. Any True Christian Lady should know that. Do not attempt to make up for it with pearls and gold, that is misleading to your groom.
5. Modesty is everything. Cover up as much as you can and still look attractive and not like some Mudslime whore. Then put on a veil to be even more modest.
Thinking of Abortion?
That fetus will be in Hell, because they never had a chance to repent their sinful ways (Psalms 51:5) (1 Kings 8:46)
Think of the children. Stop being a slut.

My dear mother wore a very pretty dress at her wedding, almost 100 years ago. How time flies. Sadly I am unable to upload the photos, which are now in the possession of my eldest nephew, but I found a very similar outfit.
Mother was daintier, her neckline was higher (of course!) and the long sleeves were made of silk rather than tulle. But the general effect is there.
