Psalm 46-50
Psalm 46
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Isn't that just like God though, he's the one who aloowed the trouble there in the first place. Like a fireman who creates arson fires to get the glory, God is a gloryhound.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
That verse reminds me of the tsunami of December 26, 2004, where God killed more than 225,000 people in 11 countries. PRAISE JESUS, he kills people good!
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
How hard is it really to be exalted amongst a bunch of heathens anyway?
Psalm 47
2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
Here,
terrible means, "Adapted or likely to excite terror, awe, or dread; dreadful; formidable". So, God is a terrorist. Praise HIM!!!
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
You don't negotiate with terrorists, you sing praises to them, especially the greatest terrorist ever, God.
8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
Why God would want to reign over heathens is really up to him, but we shouldn't question it, just sing his praises!
Psalm 48
Many people (wacko's really) believe that the Psalms are actually a timeline for Israel. They really like to point out Psalm 48 as proof of their correctness.
Israel was reformed in May 14, 1948. Now, why they would go with 48, when Israel goes (mostly) by a Hebrew calendar, which makes the formation of Israel be 5 Iyar, 5708, and has absolutely nothing to do with 1948. But, wackjobs, like to use anything they can to prove that the Bible is real, even when you just have to read it to prove that it's right.
4 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
Those wacko's claim that this verse is the United Nations, passing a resolution to form Israel.
12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
Here, they'll point out that the newly resettled jews could walk around Israel, (Zion).
14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
I'm not saying God will lead people to their death... I'm just saying everyone has died.
Psalm 49
5 Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?
There's arabs all around Israel, in case you didn't know.
11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
Damned Mohammadens!
12 Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
Nothing better than swine, those mudslimes!
16 Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
17 For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.
What's the difference between a rich muslim, and a poor one? Nothing, they both go to hell when they die!
Psalm 50
3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
God kills baddies... dead!
5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
That fatty, John Hagee, would have you believe that this verse refers to the U.S. and that we should support Israel.
8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
This was obviously written before most of the Israel and Judah kings forgot about God, and stopped the practice of sacrifice.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. ...
14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
God doesn't NEED your sacrifices. He takes them anyway. You do it for the sacrifice, because giving it HURTS you, and shows your loyalty and love. He doesn't need it, it just makes Him feel good about you when you do.
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Did you stupid heathens read that. Verse 14 says you give thanksgiving and vows, and then verse 15 says, when you need help you call. You don't call on God for rescue and then promise to repay Him, you pay Him first, and then you can call on Him for help. God is an insurance policy, you have to pay Him before you can file a claim. Don't ask how much the deductible is. It's best to get the full coverage, without a deductible. 10% of everything is your payment.
16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
God knows if you got into an accident and then called immediately to sign up. God doesn't like that, and his insurance adjusters can spot fraud from a mile away.
22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
Did you hear that heathens??? Psalm 50:22 gives us permission to beat the crap out of you for being wrong. That stupid
COEXIST bumper sticker is total crap! How can I COEXIST with someone who is wrong?
How can I respect the religious beliefs of others, when they are not worshiping God? I can't and I'm not gonna take it anymore. Friends, do not COEXIST with our enemies, screw them! They deserve death!
So what have we learned today?
1. Bible prophecy as a way of proving the Bible is just silly, the Bible is right, and I don't need no fancy book telling me that it's prophetic.
2. I WILL NOT respect the religious beliefs of people who are going to hell!
3. God IS an insurance policy, you have to make payments before you can file a claim.
