Hello Thanks for a lovely introduction. God has made Himself known through so many things and even if we can't see the building blocks themselves through what He has made His authority is plain.
Revelation is such an encouraging book, no wonder the papists tried to get it dumped. Their Babylonian cult obviously has nothing to do with God but I do like rubies. Hopefully God will allow their use as a building material in the world to come.
Amethysts are quite nice too. Sometimes they almost look like a forest scene or landscape; you can imagine the little inhabitants going about their business such as the example [ABOVE] where they've gone camping in an ice field. It's as though can see their tepees from inside an ice cave.
This one looks like a tornado done by the artist Turner. But don't worry, I don't actually see little aliens running around or communicating by telepathy. Once however I wandered into an "Assemblies of God" chapel where telepathy may have been a benefit. Someone behind me was going off like Gomez Addams but not an interpretation in sight. Well, within hearing range I should say.
I Corinthians 14:5-7 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine? And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? Some people just have different values I suppose. Here we accept God's values and seek to share them with others. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for your gracious greeting! You are so right about the building blocks that are given to us by the Lord. I can see, though, why the Papists would not want Revelation to be known, what with the references to the great whore and all. I suppose it's never easy when they find the stadium floodlights are shining onto their own organization. As for the Pentecostal church that you attended, well, that sort of thing is common practice there. You were lucky that you missed anything that involved dancing with snakes! A blessed Lord's Day to you, Dear.

Why is it that when women talk all they ever discuss is their nethers? I (like Jesus) have no interest in the outwould state of either of your Venusian furrows and neither do the children who come here.
Now I have to explain to my brother in law’s wife why my eager young, clean limbed nephew’s note pad I gave him for recording useful verses from the Bible(KJV1611) (that is all of them) is full of crude artistic impressions of a woman’s Devil’s crevice !!!

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Dear Dr. Niles: We were discussing gardening, and only gardening. If we were to discuss penmanship and the use of dipping fountain pens in bottles of ink, would you be seeing a double message there, too? Sincerely, Isabella

Wouldn’t you?!? Don’t you worry about Big Sodomy and it’s fraudulent grasp on this nation’s youth? Words have power you know.

Dear Dr. Niles: Thank you for your response. Yes, words do have power -- there is absolutely no question about that! But I'm wondering if you have been seeing recurring faces in the wallpaper patterns. Not everything in life in scary, except for Hellfire, eternal damnation or living with a nagging spouse. Honestly, you will have to spell things out for me as I do not see any connection with sodomy and fountain pens. Can you please explain what I might be missing and how this would impact the lives of our young people? Many thanks to you, and I hope you are enjoying the Lord's Day. Sincerely, Isabella

I am very sorry to have offended you, beloved Brother Doctor Niles. I'll be sure to include some trigger warnings the next time I wish to discuss my plants and weeds.
Would you prefer that we switch the subject to our most delicious pies?

Hello, Dear Basilissa: I hope you are enjoying a blessed day in the Lord. May I take this opportunity to apologize to you for my somewhat tart message from last evening? I have received a rebuke (aka as an "infraction notice"), and I must make amends. I meant no disrespect to you or to your beloved Enrique, so I ask for your forgiveness, although I did think my advice was of a practical nature. As for discussing delicious pies, perhaps that is a good idea, although I think we should avoid using certain brands of southern flour in the recipes. May Jesus shine His light on you. Sincerely, Isabella

Oh thank you dear, you are so sweet. However, as a I am totally used to being unjustly persecuted (2 Timothy 3:12), so every new occurrence just reinforces what I already know - that I'm right and that the hellbound sinners who persecute me are, well, hellbound.
Now, dear, if you really want to make amends, you should venture out of your own introduction thread and try participating in other ongoing discussions.

Dear Basilissa: Thank you for your message. I understand your situation. I may have mentioned that my father was a strict Pentecostal preacher, and my mother and I were used to persecution. That's a very good idea about visiting other parts of the forums, and I must take this up. Perhaps I shall see you here and there? All the best, Dear one.

I do have an area in my garden just for dandelions. I have found I have a weakness for dandelion tea. It calms the nerves at times. Plus the greens make a delicious salad! And it's all free!

[QUOTE=Dana723;1248112]Welcome, Mrs. White!
Thank you, Dear Dana! It is a privilege and a pleasure to be amongst so many of the Lord's finest people. I look forward to much fellowship with you. Wishing your God's great blessings, Isabella W. P.S., I've never had dandelion tea. If you have time, would you kindly tell me how to prepare it? Many thanks, and continued blessings to you on the Lord's Day!

Thank you kindly, Sister Esther! I'm still getting used to the layout of the site, and just now finding a few of the forums. At 84, I'm not quite as quick with these computer gizmos as the young whippersnappers, but I'm sure I will see you in the women's forum. May the Lord richly bless the remainder of your day as you serve Him!

Hello, Dear Esther: Me again. Can you please tell me if the women's forum is separate, or if it's a sub-forum of one of the other forums (such as the one for "Focus on Family")? I do get a bit confused by technology sometimes and it can frustrate this old librarian. Goodness, I can still remember having to ring the operator to place a call from a big wooden box on the wall! Thank you so much, Dear, and have a blessed evening in the Lord.

What Esther meant was the Auntie Flo's Prayer Shack for Women which can be found on the main forum index near the bottom (under the Landover Today! blue heading).
