Introduction -
12-17-2013, 12:08 PM
I'm Anna Robinson, age twenty. I was born in Austin, Texas, to an Atheist family. Their beliefs (or lack of) were very strong. At the age of eight, my best friend invited me to an Easter service at her Baptist church. Near the middle of the service, I began to experience a splitting headache. After the service, which had moved me greatly, I begged the pastor to let me convert. He agreed to it, after I explained my headache. He said that I was not the first to experience that. After I accepted Jesus, not only did my headache go away, but I felt so much lighter and happier. I didn't tell my parents. As soon as I turned eighteen, I moved to rural Texas, to a very religious town where I work as a Sunday School teacher
It's hard to choose only one, but I like this passage from the Book of Revelations.
"Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen."

Hello Miss Anna Robinson.
I do not think you have to worry about the True Christians™ here getting mad at you for not introducing yourself first it happens more than you would think then they remind the person and that is when things can go good or bad you did good.
You should get married and have children that is what God said in Genesis that is the first book of the Bible it also talks about Creation and The Flood and Noah was 500 years old before he had children but waiting like that is not common these days.
Thank you.
Rusty
P.S. I have been to Austin it has a very nice looking capitol building.
Psalms 116:6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

Hello and welcome Miss Anna!
I am glad to hear you are no longer in Austin...I understand there is a group of devil worshipers there that regularly mock God on television! Austin's days are therefore numbered, and will be smitten by God any day now.
We do ask that when you quote God's Word, the one True Version be used...the 1611 King James Version.
Quote:
Deuteronomy 4:2 (1611 King James Bible)
Ye shall not adde vnto the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish ought from it, that ye may keepe the Commaundements of the Lord your God, which I command you.
|
I am glad to hear you teach Sunday School...it is important to get to young impressionable minds before the world has a chance to brainwash them.
So, I look forward to seeing you around!
P.S. How is your cherry pie? I'm hankerin' for a nice warm piece of pie right about now.
I Kings 7:23
And he made a moulten Sea, ten cubites from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, & his height was fiue cubits: and a line of thirtie cubites did compasse it round about.
New here? Desiring to be pleasing in the eyes of The Lord and His Followers?
Then do as directed by our esteemed Pastors and head on over to the Introductions subforum and make your first post there, friend. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus. Anything else you want to share with us about how Jesus has blessed you is welcomed too.
Are you a hater of God that believes He is a morally bankrupt monster? Read Why, you ask, is God so angry? to see that it is in fact you that is the monster that mercilessly and infinitely torments God.
Stop this relentless torturing of God and accept Jesus today!

It is true that Austin has become a hotbed of athiestic scorn for God. Sadly, the fact is that the Devil holds sway in most of the larger cities in Texas, though the Christians are better armed. I live right down the road from Austin. Once it was a godly town, but liberal communists who teach at the University of Texas have subverted the place. Governor Brother Rick Perry has to hole up in his castle to prevent being attacked by angry mobs of sociology majors.
I am happy you have escaped.
Welcome to you then and tell us more of your happy walk with the Lord Jesus.
God Bless!
God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

Welcome, Miss Anna! I am a newcomer too, and trust me when I say that I have received more blessings and warm welcomes during the past two weeks here than I ever did in that statue-worshipping, incense-huffing catlick cult to which I belonged for most of my life!
I have never been to Austin, but I did visit San Antonio over the summer. Boy, was it hot! I didn't see any athiests, but I did see a lot of "steers and queers," much to my chagrin. Are there any gaywise pillow-biters disgracing your town, or have you managed to avoid the scourge of the homersexuals?
I look forward to getting to know you better as a sister in Christ (albeit, an unmarried one).

Thank you for your kind welcome.
I look forward to knowing you, too. I have been extremely lucky in the fact that there are no homosexuals in my town.

Hello, Dr. Snyde. Thank you for your kind welcome. I will make sure to use the KJV in the future. Sunday school teaching is a rewarding job, although it can be sad to see how far gone even young ones are.
P.S. My cherry pie isn't bad, although, personally, I am partial to chocolate cherry cake.

If you hit the multi-quote button (beside the quote button) for every post you wish to quote (except the last one), and then the quote button for the last one, that'd be great.

A blessed day to you, Miss Anna. How wonderful that you discovered Jesus is better than any aspirin. I enjoy extra strength Jesus whenever I need Him. Luke 9:11 And the people when they knew it, followed him, and he receiued them, and spake vnto them of the kingdome of God, and healed them that had need of healing. Some time ago, there was an unscrupulous individual that tried to bottle Jesus, but His Virtue kept slipping out of the bottle. He cannot be sealed in a tomb, much less a medicine bottle. I have been to your state. It was a rather unfortunate visit, though. Mother purchased tickets for the bus to the Dallas Fort Worth area and we set off for what she believed was a pie parade. I thought there was something odd about it, but Texas can be an odd place. Imagine Mother's red face when she discovered we were there for a pride parade. She required sedation when a drag queen named Viviana Porcelaina kissed her on the cheek. It is true that the participants in that parade were flaky and that it was fruit filled, but it is also true that I fear Mother will never go to Texas again, not even to see famed evangelist Stumpps McGee, known far and wide for healing people by giving them a blessed piece of bubble gum. Welcome, my new friend. Enjoy your stay with us!

Yet you give your location as Florida in your profile. Which is it, dear?

No worries, I figured it was an unintentional error that you would want to fix.
