With the social medias taking over everywhere, more is attention being paid to presentation. In particular, styles of eyeglasses, backgrounds and even the clothing being adopted raise a couple of important questions in many Christian homes:

1. Does the “Retro” look glorify Christ?

and

2. Why not?

Very often when a style comes back in, a different fabric will be used or perhaps the fabric reappears in shop windows – but used for different garments. For example a black & white pattern popular in the 1940s, polka dots say, turns up again – but done as okapi stripes instead. The same principle applies in other areas, too. Here we see a happy-go-lucky song, written to encourage American servicemen serving Christ by fighting communism, repurposed for something quite different. When listening, notice how many individuals seem to be under demonic influence. The trumpeter is playing a completely different tune, periodically starting up at random. The singers are clearly having trouble standing up. And as for the audience? They've gone full okapi.

Oh, my goodness! Well, it is certainly no wonder why there are so many things wrong with that "musical" presentation. For one thing, the song is about demonic rum. Any knows what the blessed has to say about alcoholic beverages and the effect that they have on drinkers:

Ephesians 5:18 "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit"

As for the trumpet that is playing a different tune, obviously it's the sound of the devil laughing deliriously as he sees this ish performance and how people are liking it — instead of turning to for salvation!

I've personally noticed that a lot of teens and young adults are wearing clothes they call the 'Indie' style. It looks like its inspired from the 70s/80s and is much more modest than some clothing trends that have came before. Baggy pants and long sweaters are a staple mark of the indie aesthetic. While definitely not the conservative dress that I am used to, I'd rather kids be wearing baggy clothes than lingerie.

It is their lingerie, dear. They wear the same sweatshirts and sweatpants in bed and to college. I guess it makes sense since they sleep through their classes after partying all night long.
