Objectivity: A gateway to the occult! -
04-08-2009, 11:38 PM
I've always considered myself a fair and open-minded person. As such, I am always willing to listen to the other side of any argument, even arguments crafted by idiot atheists.
I have been reading up on what they call objectivity and logic, and have come to the only Christian conclusion: These philosophies are a gateway to the occult!
When we look on the Google for a definition of the word "objectivity" we find this: "judgment based on observable phenomena and uninfluenced by emotions or personal prejudices."
Our first red flag here is that practitioners of objectivity are striving for an emotionless state of mind, as well as one without morals.
By practicing objectivity, they are essentially draining all the emotions from their bodies, or removing all feeling. As they remove all emotion, they shut out the primary mode of communication that GOD uses to direct our lives: Gut feelings! And if you can't feel anything, you can't feel the love of GOD, or the guilt that He sends us when we do wrong! The liberal heart becomes hardened and their lives dry up and blow away in directionless winds. This leaves them with a vacancy they try to fill with more dangerous occultism!
Further research has clued me in on what the objectivitians call "the impartial observer," that 'exists in everybody.' This impartial observer, they say, is the version of each of us that can view things from all sides and make informed decisions about the world. This is basically pantheism, this idea that we all have this 'person' in us that is like the high voodoo priest of objectivity and logic. This can easily lead to self-worship!
Radical followers of objectivity and logic say that we must step aside and let our impartial observers come forward when evaluating evidence and issues. Those of you who have studied the occult (with GOD's guidance of course) will recognize this as a dangerous variation of the out-of-body experience. Occultists strive for out of body experiences because they are vain and like any excuse to see themselves.
Apparently practitioners get a high of sorts by releasing their impartial observer and the need for this high gets more and more intense every time they do it, as with self-abuse. This may eventually lead them to practice objectivity constantly, questioning everything wherever they go!
The deeper into the cult of logic they descend, the farther from GOD they get until they paint themselves into a logical corner, unable to accept the truth of GOD because "there's not enough evidence."
I think it's safe to say that satan is the driving force behind these horrifying practices, and the world must be warned!
I encourage anybody reading this thread to avoid objectivity at all costs! Remember, all it takes is one taste for you to become addicted!
If you have already become an objectivitian, it is not too late! GOD can free you from your dungeon of logic and reason! With His help (and ours) you too can enjoy the carefree, easy-to-understand, black and white life of a True Christian!
GOD bless!

Amen! God loves blind faith and hates conclusions based on evidence:
John 20:29: Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.
God even likes to fudge the evidence to see who has placed unquestioning faith in Him. Even if something happens that calls into question your faith in Him, it is still His doing:
Deut. 13:1-5: If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn [you] away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
Note that even though it's God Who supplies the incorrect message, He still orders us to bump off the messenger. God is good, all the time!
Now consider faith:
Hebrews 11:1: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
If we rejected emotions, we'd reject hope, and if we rejected hope, we'd reject faith. Since salvation is through faith, objectivity is a one-way ticket on the hell train, express service.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Whats wrong with objetivity?
We have cars thanks to it, and medicine, and all that stuff that makes our lives waaaay more comfy.

If you read above, you will see why objectivity is a bad thing.
Objectivity means using our frail human senses to explain things, when God's Divine and Infinite Knowledge, through The Holy Bible, is already there to explain everything.

You are incorrect. You are confusing moral objectivity, which holds moral truths exist (like The Bible), with epistemological objectivity, which is the subject of Bob4God’s excellent post.
Matthew 5:17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Okie Dokie.
About the subject.
I guess we can't really leave "moral objetivity" aside. We would be like animals without wise judge on things.
You mean the objetivity in a scientific level is the dangerous thing? Doubt?
Curiosity catched the cat.

You wrote 'curiosity catched the cat'. Only a foreigner would write something like that. What third world country are you from, Shiksa?

You must be incredibly stupid. I clearly explained everything in the original post and you're just sitting here drooling on your keyboard and defecating in your pants.
Read the original post, and read your Bible!
