Greetings and welcome to the Landover Baptist Church forums from a friendly Catholic Priest.
Please tell us your favorite Bible verses, which Church do you attend and how you've found Jesus.
Also, could you explain in which ways your Baptism differs from the one of Landover?

Welcome. Please explain to us what is meant by "Reformed" Baptist? Does is mean Baptists who tolerate sin?
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Heaven forbid! No true Baptist would ever tolerate sin. I'm hoping "reformed" means something that is only mildly offensive to God, such as posting using needlessly small fonts.

I don't think we can get him on that, but perhaps on lack of belief.

Hi
Yes, some Pastors are quite charismatic but that does not include ectoplasm in any Baptist context. I'm sure one of the splinter groups (pentecostalists, mohammedans, Italian orthodox and the like) can produce much more than ectoplasm but it's either a deception or demonic. I suppose a demon possessed person could go to a joke shop and buy something to deceive you; that would still be demonic activity but not directly as exuding ectoplasm would be. Scripture is so important as Saul well knew when he crope around soliciting witches and stuff.
I Samuel 28:7 8 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. Baptists do not solicit witches and do not go around in disguise, unlike so-called Charismatics, even including charismatic catholics if you can imagine anything worse, who parade around like they're in charge of the world or something.
Welcome to Landover: looking forward to your Scripture verse (or chapter or whole book e.g. Judges) which is always encouraging.

Hello! I have not a clue what you said but it did not to appear as derogatory as most. God wants to love you if you let him.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Sometime I wonder if the bar is too high on Introductions. We are potentially turning away an entire generation of illiterate, drug-addicted zombies with our high standards. I'm trying to find Biblical guidance on this.

I'd always turn to Isaiah for this. There's being "spangled" of course, the entry level of intoxication, a standard dose of LSD or ecstasy and in Isaiah's day there was always ergot or toadstools which could be sought out in the wild, taken accidentally or (presumably) cultivated. Wretches who consume these are always keen to "level up" meaning level 2 intoxication. A standard dose of both at once perhaps, followed by short-duration titillations, the "spliff" or various dubious inhalants. God said:
Isaiah 51:21 Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine
At level 3, reading would become impossible due to luminous buzzards, writhing jellyfish, assorted polka dots and impossible insects getting between the eyes and the text. Isaiah would be familiar with this due to so-called oracles who sat in caves with fissures leading to subterranean deposits of ethane, as is well documented, later developing into buildings. Perhaps other fissures would be exploited, a little kiosk built over, the seeress dwelling therein with abundant fumes.
Every modern aberration has a direct counterpart in the ancient world, AT the time Isaiah was writing, IN his immediate environs, which essentially means from Athens to Persia. The zombies you mentioned would be around level 4 or 5, by which time the fume breathers would have died or gone mad. Is that any use?
