Brothers and Sisters,

I find these new Kiddie Pageants fascinating. Are they little painted up whores or potential wives on parade?

You have to admit, they are very beautiful and just think at 5-6 years old they will be ready for marriage in just 8 short years. By time they are 13-14 they not only will be ready for marriage, they will have great poise and posture and will be used to rehearsing lines. Just think how adorable that would be at the dinner table.... a beautiful little angel reciting your favorite scriptures.

Also by then they will have plenty of experience caking on the make-up. This will come in handy for hiding bruises.











If I had my own little girl (which I hope is soon - darts eyes at Zeke) I would imagine she would look just like this little lady.




Anyway, I digress. What do you guys and gals think? GODLY or gaudy?

I really can't understand why anyone would call this objectional or that to inculcate young children into thinking they attain individual esteem by their looks is potentially psychologically damaging; or wonder why any parent could not see how vicariously ego fulfilling their behaviour is, gaining self esteem by virtually prostituting their children.

As a True Christian™ I see the immediate value of getting rid of girl childs ASAP and these light hearted pageants are an excellent and wallet conscious way of advertising their presence.

As to any potential pedophillia based accusations for having and interest at provocatively dressed minors I thing having a Pastor involved would be sufficient to admonish and rebuke such horse play.

Sister, the first and the third of those look to me like they will be ready to work a stripper pole or a street corner by 11.

The second, she has the potential to be a fine bride, or perhaps a weathergirl.

Seems like there is potential for these girls to be child brides. Is there any scripture that tells us when a girl is of marrying age? Any advice on scripture would be greatly appreciated as I have a daughter who will be pageant age before I know it.

Maybe these girls should be serving good Christian husbands right now.

When my daughter is old enough I hope she can be in pageants like this so she can find a man and be closer to Jesus.

I would never wear clothes like those or make myself up like a whore. Aaron said there's no point to it. I'm already married and he knows what I really look like and he always says you can't fix an ugly house with a bucket of paint and new curtains anyway. I'm not sure what that means, but he usually says it after I ask for a nice dress or if I want to get a nice haircut.

Also, it says in the Bible that women should be modest and those girls don't look modest, they look like catty little tramps that would be even more useless than me at keeping a decent house or getting any work done on the property.

I'm pretty sure they're all city girls, Brother.

All they have to do is keep an eye out for "the fuzz" as their drug-dealer mothers and pimp fathers are doing deals.

Personally, I think pageants are traps set up by homers, pedos, and Catholics as an attempt to molest little girls and boys (boys do compete in pageants, but it is a relatively small amount compared to girls). Also, it is an attempt to brainwash little boys to become gay.
