I also checked their site, wondering if they had any integrity at all. It would be possible to come up with doctrines having nothing to with God or with what He teaches and call yourselves a "church" one example being the church of scientology. It's based on some stuff originated by a secular author who wrote pretty zingy stories with heroic heroes and dastardly villains, one dimensional characters and fast moving plots, well suited to pulp magazines and fairly popular. Scientologists stick to their source which involves aliens and nukes and is utter rot but that's their platform. They could be said to have integrity.
And they do call themselves a church. This Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church clearly have doctrines directly contradicting God. They're not unique in that and for them to have integrity they'd need to refer to their sources, whatever they are. Do they do this? No! They actually refer to The Bible, the very source they MUST REJECT if their mission statement is true.
Many people find things they cannot accept. Many people change what they cannot accept. But when the thing you cannot accept is GOD'S WORD that is something you can't change. You can make up something else or you can ignore it but when you can't accept what God clearly teaches, then say what you've made up for yourself is now what God teaches, you haven't changed The Bible. You've simply abandoned integrity.
