It seems to me this is a great opportunity for our Brother, Benny Hinn. Now that he has dumped his overweight wife and God has provided him with a new girlfriend, it's his time to move up.

The namby-pamby preaching that has gone on in the Glass Cathedral for all these years needs to retire. What's needed is thundering gosple preaching with some helpful healing of the sick and deformed at the end of the service.

I clicked that link, and, Mr. Mayor, I was disgusted by what I saw. That so-called church has a woman pastor! What is wrong with those people?

Brother Benny is just what that ministry needs. Oh, I feel a powerful healing of the Crystal Cathedral coming upon me.

I can just imagine Pastor Isaac Peters being guest Pastor there and breaking some glass!

I really feel exalted when Pastor Isaac preaches, it has to be as close to hearing the actual voice of God as you can get!

Brother Benny is just what that ministry needs. Oh, I feel a powerful healing of the Crystal Cathedral coming upon me.

It seems to me there is a health and welfare issue besides the spiritual aspect. Think of Benny filling that Crystal Cathedral several times a day with sick and dismembered people. They go in wards of the health care system and government and walk out healed, ready to be taxpayers instead of welfare receiptiants.

My proposal would be to remodel the building to accomodate Benny. He would race up and down the isles, whacking people's forheads and knocking them into a healed state of euphoria. As they all walked out on their own, crews would move in to collect the unneeded wheel chairs and send them to the landfill.

This is Benny's time.

Now the Schullers are trying to employ their old gimmik, "positive thinking". They need to preach about sin and the punishment for it. Maybe LBC should buy it, get the place back on message, and then bring Benny.

Maybe God is punishing those people for being so extravagant and not using their funds to glorifiy God.

That glass house of theirs probably cost a fortune to heat. If they had built their structure in accordance to God's directive in scripture, it would have been much more comfortable.

Stone insulated with gold is more fitting to God than brittle, non-insulated glass.

Think of this, too. Glass is a man-made material. God created stone and filled up cracks in the earth with gold for us to find and give to Him. How much better to build a house for God to hang up with us out of His own materials than something wrought from the hand of man.

I must point out that Pastor Hinn is a dot-head Indian. Certainly someone more....American.....is available.

I nominate Robert Tilton for Pastorhood of the Cathedral. He is in unfortunate obscurity after the forces of Satan made false claims against him. The Rev. Tilton can heal the sick and raise the dollar. His facial expressions alone are proof that the Holy Spirit has taken hold of him, shout Glory!

In spite of the fact that Benny is, well, from elsewhere, he is on fire for Jesus.

We have the management people at LBC to turn the finances of that property around. I just can't get out of my mind the thought of LBC buying the property, hiring Benny and counting cash.

I know our LBC pastors could accomplish the same thing, but we need them here.

And, while I would not say this outside of our little group here, I really want Benny there in California, not in Freehold.

Anyway, by the bill was tossed in with a gazillion others that remain unpaid at the Cathedral.

Now, there is good news. The Cathedral is being sold for many millions. All the money due creditors may be paid. Thank you Jesus.

Praise! Its about time those bills get paid. We are instructed in the scripture to never, ever, rob God by refusing to pay tithes an offerings(bills are due no matter what and tithes an offerings are God's due for services rendered) to God's Favorite Church Landover Baptist! Someone from there should probably a lot extra for sevices rendered.

I think Brother Benny would have been in a good position to buy and save the Crystal but for one big problem.

He has been burdened for years with a bad wife. Now that that problem is solved he can start his rise to the top top of the industry again.

After years of healing huge crowds of various serious maladies, I was REALLY disappointed Benny is cancelling his healing ministry events because people might get sick. I've been defending Benny here for years. I've sent donations and recommended people go to his rallies instead of getting expensive knee and hip replacements.

Our Pastor Zeke is also famous for healing the sick and he is still working. So, I assumed Benny would continue. I hate to say it, but Benny may have lost his healing powers. I think that can happen to older pastors. My current thinking is we at Landover Baptist should withhold endorsement of Benny Hinn Ministries.
