The bishop of Rome (so-called "pope") is making waves again. This time he has managed to anger the peaceful nation of Turkey,
claiming that some unfortunate events which took place in 1915 should be called a "genocide."
Should we care?
No.
Here is why:
1) People die all the time. It's no big deal. God killed millions of men, women, and children in the Flood, and we still worship Him.
2) Armenians are heathens. They belong to some obscure church (established in 4th century AD), of the orthodox variety of false Christianity. There is no reason why we should care about some dead heathens.
3) Genocides happen all the time, and our Great Nation usually doesn't care, especially if they happen in places with no oil. (Several places in Africa come to mind). Some people would call what's happening in Gaza a genocide of the Palestines, but we don't care about some dirty Arabs either.
4) In fact, we are proud of our own genocides. We're so proud that we put on the $20 bill the face of a
guy who was substantial in the genocide of Indians in America.
Hence, there is no reason why we should care about 1,000,000 dead Armenians. They were destined to
anyway!
