The Supreme Court of New Mexico has
held that two queers or queeresses can get "married." In legislating from the bench to create a brand new right, the court stated,
Quote:
We will uphold the statutes at issue in this case if the opponents of same-gender marriage can prove that denying same-gender couples the right to marry—with all of its attendant statutory rights, protections and responsibilities—is substantially related to an important governmental interest.

What interest could possibly be more important than not outraging Jesus? How soon can we give New Mexico back to Old Mexico?
