And people are forgetting that. It really saddens me.

There is a story whirling around the toilet that is left wing news and it is about a little boy who saved his younger sister from a dog.

Now all these people are making a fuss over him and telling him how swell he is. Nobody mentioned Jesus in any of this and it is truly insulting to Our Lord.

People don't even seem to realize that sons are established to have greater value than daughters. Did God promise Abraham a daughter? No, He did not.

Over and over again, the Bible--God's Holy Word and the founding document for our entire Western Civilization--makes it clear that men are more valuable than women. Men are afforded greater authority and their redemption price is higher.

So, some small boy takes it upon himself to offer his life for his sister and everybody thinks that he did something good. The kid should never have jeopardized his family's future like that and Not. One. Time. does he thank God or praise Jesus for his life.

This sort of thing makes me sick to my stomach. I can't believe that it is being featured in the news for general public consumption.

You are on to something big here, Sister handmaiden. Our country needs to have a conversation about hero worship. It shows up when a huge fire fighter in uniform is photographed walking out of a burning house carrying a little girl. The fire fighter is the big deal, not Jesus.

Perhaps some training here at Landover Baptist for news editors from across the country would help.
