If your daughter wants to go to college, READ THIS! -
01-11-2010, 10:02 AM
A friend of mine from Church recently approached me with a little crisis his family was in.
The younger of his 5 daughters apparently found some kind of chat room on the internet that was aimed at children. The father thought the chat room was decent because it was heavily moderated and advertised as family friendly. The terms of service there also referenced the Scriptures, so it seemed like a safe place.
What happened, however, was not friendly to his family. Apparently, the youngsters in there were talking about going to college and about exciting it was over there (more about this later!). This encouraged his daughter to also want to go to college. She got the idea that it would make her grow as a person and give her new insights. Okay... the silly child did not realize that all information is already in the Bible.
Since I am known in my community for my knowledge of the workings of the world, my friend asked me about college. He was aware of relevant Scripture that forbids higher education for females, but wanted to see what college was about anyway.
So we both started searching the internet looking for relevant information. We ended up with a documentary that removed all doubt. And this, I put very mildly. For your reference, the documentary is called "Girls Gone Wild". There is a series depicting a whole range of activities that take place at colleges and by girls from colleges. This gives you a very clear and vivid idea of the "excitement" your daughter will be part of.
We were both so mortified after the first few minutes that we couldn't even move. This forced us to sit through the entire ordeal.
We could not let his daughter see the documentary of course, but she seems to have accepted her father's wisdom. As an extra precaution, she is no longer allowed to access the internet. We sent a VERY angry letter to the chat room operators and told them they would go to Hell. We in the process of getting that chat room shut down for its depravity against minors.
If anyone is interested in more details about the documentary, please let me know. Since this is a common problem, I have ordered more copies to share with other fathers in our community, should their daughters have similar thoughts about college.

Can men still go to college?
What if the man of the family dies? How can the lone woman feed the family, its impossible to get a well paid job without college education. (Cleaning personal is not an acceptable profession.)
Plus moderation on chatrooms means they filter out bad language or topics that are not ment for minors, however education is not evil. What if she wanted to go to a christian college?
I also advise you to google "Girls gone wild". It is a porn show and not a documentary of what college life is like ok? Don't be manipulative and if you try get relevant sources and not porn movies with ZERO educational background or intent.

Then the lone woman has brothers, uncles and if need be the husbands of her sisters. Then there are also the members of her Church.
See how there is a whole support structure in place?

That is mutually exclusive. There are no Christian colleges, but there are a lot of colleges that call themselves Christian.
We already have a good instruction manual, it's called the KJV 1611 Bible. This should be studied extensively through homeschooling.

This is an excellent example of what secular "education" is really about: Disrobing!
I can think of absolutely no reason for a girl to attend college, unless it is for house-keeping lessons at LBCU.
Come quickly JESUS!

I remember when I attended the university in my younger years. It was all about education of the mind, to better oneself to become an intelligent Christian man. Well-rounded, you know. We began every lecture with a prayer and ended it with such as well. Only men attended, which is the way I see fit.
Now it's all about the vile things of this world. Nobody learns at the university now, except about how to hate God and love sin. The liberal professors brainwash our children. Unless you want to rotten your brain, I would most certainly stay away.

Hear, hear Bob!
There are girls who grew up in sheltered homes full of females that caused young girls not not learn how to be women. They need those key skills required to live in today's fast paced world. What with new and unique building materials like linoleum and Formica. Cloth like nylon and Kevlar. They need to know how to clean and mend these things. LBCU for Women is a terrific place to go. Expectations are low enough that their little minds do not get upset. Best of all, the school is gated, with tall perimeter fencing and guards to protect these incapable females.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Brother James Hutchins, finally a statement i can agree to. Sending your girl to college is not equivalent to making her a neo-liberal who studies art and takes drugs. Nonono! I am shure there must be fitting courses about clothcraft, religion or simple things needed in the modern world.

The only type of documentary I want my daughter to be in is one about the LBC or LBCU.
I do not want her to be exploited in a Girls Gone Wild documentary.

I watched a documentary before. It was about a man who ate only filth from MacDonald's for a month. He became an obese man... a disgusting man who could barely stand up; a man who if you saw him on the street, youd point him out to your friends so that they could join you in mocking him; a man, who if you saw him while you were eating, you wouldnt be able to finish your meal. I couldn't watch such SIN a minute longer, and on that day I vowed never to view another docuSATANICmentary again.
You sound like a righteous man, but I suggest you burn all of your documentaries post-haste so as not to further corrupt your humble abode.

Girls gone wild is a staged erotic show and not a documentary. Its like a dirty hollywood movie. Make shure you know which SPECIFIC college you would send your girl to and which course she would take. Each college differs, but claiming them all to be bad because you watched a genuine dirty hollywood movie about "college" is stretching the truth.
Definitely, not all colleges are compatable with your beliefs, so it is your responsibility to find one which you can are with!

I have checked through them all, and I am sure (note: no 'h') that there is no appropriate college besides LCU (Landover Christian University (Note: no 'B')). Also there is no worry about the classes your daughter is taking because LCU is smart enough not to hurt the young women's brains by making them choose. Some courses include cooking, cleaning, ironing, folding laundry, asking your husband what was said in church, etc.
also I believe documentaries about college and 'erotic shows' have become synonymous these days, due to the filthy liberals running them.

Thanks Brother for bringing to my attention this remarkable documentary known as "Girls Gone Wild". I've just ordered my own personal copy.
The diligent work done by the primary researchers in capturing a typical day in the life of a female at college (almost couldn't say that with a straight face ) has confirmed what I've known all along: If you tell young females that they've evolved from bonobos, than they'll start ACTING like bonobos!

This is exactly why my parents did not want me to attend college! I praise and thank the Lord for their decision.
While we're on this topic what does everyone think about the Bates family allowing one of their daughters take classes at a college? The Bates family is a very respectable group of people. Although I feel she should not attend college (for she may be tempted by the young Preachers in training) she wants to play music for the church, so in a way she would be repaying God and the entire community. Oh I don't know what to think!

Girls Gone Wild? Is this some sort of program about women backpacking into a rainforest or something?

Indeed, Landover Baptist College does not exist. That is because it is called Landover Christian College (or LCU (source here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...ldid=173387351)).
and ordering pornography is not a sin, as long as you do not do anything with it. But FYI, girls gone wild is a documentary.

I did not order pornography. I ordered a documentary. I made sure to go to a store that advertised itself as one that catered to adults (which I am). I asked the kind gentleman at the counter about a documentary about girls who go to college. He winked at me and said he had just the right documentary for me. He also gave me a documentary about father-daughter relationships that I will study next Sunday after Church.
So you are really blaming the victim here. I made an honest effort to study the type of environment people's daughters go to. Unlike you, I didn't just have an opinion ready without first doing proper research.
I researched and, indeed, the documentary could easily have been mistaken for pornography. The logical conclusion is that you should not send your daughter to a place where she will be mistaken for a porn actress.
Notice how I didn't use ANY Biblical reference here and ONLY applied logic? Happy now?
Checkmate, btw.

What is the reason for this hateful character assassination?
Unlike what haters keep insisting, all of our positions are properly researched. Would you prefer that people said "no" every time their child wants something without even knowing what they are saying "no" to? That would be ignorance.
We are far from ignorant, friend.
