Default The Great Conspiracy Theory - 11-16-2020, 09:50 PM

In the history of “money-making ideas” there is little that approaches Psychology. It attempts to remove God from the equation and replace Him with the idea that the sinner is not a product of a lack of faith (thus allowing the entry of demons into the soul) but that the world that God created is responsible of sin, or, to put it another way, that God would have created imperfect beings incapable of benefiting from His Word to a sufficient extent such as to protect them from evil.

We know that homers have demons in the rectum; that similar demons exist in the cooter of lesbians. Another set of demons account for atheism, and a specialised battalion of these (crossed with rectal demons) were formed by Satan personally to induce people into Catholicism. (Another set of demons that enter many minds are dedicated to Socialism – the idea (better known as a Ponzi Scheme) that nobody needs to work because everyone shares everyone else’s money or “I work hard and you live high on the hog.”)

As Pastor for Diversity, I have the unenviable task of having to plow through garbage to find out what God wants Landover to do about sin. It is in that context that I chanced upon this article in “Frontiers in Psychology” that is entitled

Every Christian wants to "measure their belief", don't they. Obviously, there has to be a standard by which other "beliefs" are measured, and that standard is Landover.

But, on to the article:
Quote:
>Therefore, we present the Generic Conspiracist Beliefs -GCB - scale: a novel measure of individual differences in generic conspiracist ideation. […] In sum, this research indicates that the GCB is a psychometrically sound and practically useful measure of conspiracist ideation,
[…]
A conspiracist belief can be described as “the unnecessary assumption of conspiracy when other explanations are more probable” (Aaronovitch, 2009, p. 5). Substantial numbers of people endorse conspiracy theories proposing that the U.S. government orchestrated the 9/11 terrorist attacks (Stempel et al., 2007; Swami et al., 2010), that the British government is covering up its own role in the 7/7 bombings (Soni, 2007), and that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was not the work of Lee Harvey Oswald alone (Goertzel, 1994; McHoskey, 1995), to name but a few popular conspiracy theories (see McConnachie and Tudge, 2008). Such beliefs are usually unsubstantiated and implausible, but are often regarded as harmless (e.g., Clarke, 2002).

Well, there’s a lot of $10 words there, but, in short, the GCB scale tells you, how far down the road you are as far as the possession of demons is concerned. (I should imagine that if you are Catholic or Atheist, you’re almost a lost cause.)

Now we know that at conception God causes a soul to enter the cells and that that soul is equipped with the knowledge of good and evil. Unfortunately, because the cells are very, very small, there’s not a lot of room and the knowledge is little. Of course, it should be large enough if the cells concentrate upon it. Unfortunately, there are fetuses that, in a moment of error reject that concentration and they fall foul of demons. As a result and after birth, only the strongest education in The Ways of Christ The Redeemer will suffice to bring them back to the path of righteousness.

If I may go back to “A conspiracist belief can be described as “the unnecessary assumption of conspiracy when other explanations are more probable”,” some of you may be thinking, “Wait a moment! Is Pastor Bathfire suggesting that True Christianity is a “conspiracy theory”?”

Well, of course not – if something is true, then it is not a theory.

We do not need to “unnecessarily assume that men have conspired" to create a belief system when other explanations for all the miraculous events and faith-inspiring claims of the Bible are more probable” because there is nothing more probable than “The Bible (KJV1611)”!

You can see this by comparing the Bible with other books that are, in fact, no more than poor translations of folk tales and superstition with a bit of magic throw in – Have a look sometime at the Koran, or Torah, or the Vedas and Upanishads of the Dot-Heads, or the story of Buddha – all of them filled with things that have far more probable explanations: God did it!

It is therefore in this light that I think we can say “A conspiracist belief can be described as “the unnecessary assumption of anything when other explanations are more probable”.”

Do you think that Satan - the Father of Lies - has not thought of a conspiracy to fill Hell with the Souls of the Damned by confusing Mankind with choice?

While I am waiting for copies of the research by Prof. Robert Brotherton and his actual GCB scale that led to his article, I would rather like to get an idea of where a True Christian sees various cults and, more importantly where they see the various heresies that social clubs masquerading as “Christianity” but in reality are no more than purveyors of FAKE NEWS! such as

If we assume that Landover Independent Baptist scores 100 as it is the only one that preaches God’s Word, what do the rest score, and why are they necessary and what can we do against the enemies of God?
