My favorite Republican candidate for Presdent, Donald Trump, moved another step closer to announcing today. He established further his bonafides by seeming not to be a candidate.
In the mind of the voter, intelligence is an awesome quality for a U. S. President. Is there anything more intellectually prestigious than being a university President? Nothing I know of.
People know Donald Trump is a billionaire. But, few knew he is also President of a University he started.
As of today, everyone knows. The State of New York sued Donald and his University for the same reason politicians are always sued--because they represent competition. That students pay huge sums and claim to get nothing in return sounds like every university out there. The law suit is a front for some other Republican candidate.
All that matters in politics is people know how smart he is. The publicity Donald got here makes me even more confident he can take the Iowa Caucus. (I'm working on something related to the Trump campaign I can't reveal yet.)
