I didn't follow that link, as you say we know everything we need to know about evil just from reading The Bible.
NO TRUE SCOTSMAN
How often has this "fallacy" been thrown in our faces? But it's all one way traffic isn't it. Now some freak claiming to be a "satanist" says she doesn't worship evil or celebrate devils or anything like that Ha Ha, she insinuates, how foolish you are to think that! It strikes me that's like saying a catholic doesn't pay attention to the pope or attend mass or go to confession or daub infants with contaminated water Ha Ha, they insinuate, how foolish you are why I'm a catholic and I never do those things! Then you say they're not a true catholic
BANG!!! ………they hit you with it:
“That's a f a l l a c y !”
Satan does have people who worship him. They do suck blood, books exist explaining how to do this with diaries appended giving dates and names of suckees, do believe in evil personified, do celebrate devils giving them names and setting up cults to glorify specific demons, do attend events I don't need to describe but which sound absolutely revolting, do aim for bad government with public exhibition of Christians being skinned alive and sprayed with nitric acid, do want a state religion and do want that religion to be idolatrous. What are we supposed to call those people? Telling me:
“Oh, silly, they're not true Satanists”
isn't going to cut it. As I say, we've heard so much about this fallacy it becomes easy to identify when we see it in action.
