I was doing some research while cleaning the parking lot as part of one of my duties and I found a VHS tape of Power Rangers. I brought it home with me and plopped it in. Nothing but music that sounds like it was made by satanists and screaming chants like “it’s morphin time”. What concerned me most was that one of the characters is known as “Rita Repulsa” who is followed around by demons that look like they’re from HELL. I decided to look this Rita person up and found she also goes by another name “Witch Bandora” whose backstory is WORD FOR WORD gaining power from Satan himself to try and resurrect her dead son. I am alarmed and mortified.

Amen. The warning is appreciated, one more reason to keep Oriental media out of Christian homes. Though I'm a little miffed at the implication that any of us let our kids watch Power Rangers to begin with.

Indeed, Brother Lukes, no member in good standing of Landover Baptist would allow their children to watch such programs. It is always wise to remember, though, that all sorts of peculiar persons visit our online community.


Some people won't take the time to read the excellent sermons and lessons posted here that deal directly with the Bible. However, they will read other content that spurs their curiosity, and that's where the witnessing begins.


Once they learn the ugly truth about things like the Power Rangers, the Holy Spirit can start to convict them and lead them to Christ. That's why it's good for us to discuss matters out there in the public sphere, even if we know better than to allow their influence in our homes.

Medieval literature on this topic would be very dubious, due to its postdating what Jesus knew and He didn't mention Dukes of the nether regions. That doesn't mean demonic influences do not exist. Even if rebadged as something else (after all the concept of demonic activity exists in many languages not having the word "demon" available) the outcome remains the same.

Trance states are promoted assiduously by crystal gurus, hypnotherapists, the yoga, certain types of music etc., yet ask them what they mean by "trance" and you'll get a wide assortment of answers. Essentially though it involves the brain being tricked somehow to interpret one's perceptions of whatever reality one encounters in a new way. Whether non-trance modes offer worse insight than entranced persons have available is immaterial here.

In order for Power Rangers to "work" a series of still images needs to be interpreted as a dynamic spectacle – in this case on a screen. For that to occur, the brain needs to be tricked somehow to interpret one's encounter (with the screen) in a new way, as something it in fact is not. That is achieved by specific durations of the pictures displayed one after another, aligned with how nerves work, in other words an induced trance state.

Since by various expedients crystal gurus, hypnotherapists, the yoga and new-age "consciousness raising" music do the same thing, no Christian home should run this Power Rangers stuff because whatever you call it, the outcome remains the same.

That nonsense was made up by Catholics, not Satanists. Don't try and deflect the blame. The only time I'm going to see a demon is when I am resurrected by Christ alongside all the faithful to fight Satan's armies during Armageddon. So I don't really care one whit about their ranks and titles. As you will be spending eternity in their company it may he more relevant to you to do that research though.

By this statement, Mr. Much, I assume you are making reference to the fact that the modern Italian strategy for winning a war is to fight on one side until their defeat is imminent, then switch to the triumphant side in time for the victory parade.

Since the Bible tells us reliably that Satan will lose to the Glorious Army of Christ, this line of reasoning tracks. However, the Padre is engaging in a serious risk of being brought down and condemned to Hell before he has a chance to renounce his false church and assure his place in Heaven.

Let this be a warning to all Italians and Catholics and sinners of different stripes. Accept Jesus now and assure your place in the afterlife. Last-second, deathbed conversions are not always guaranteed.

You could be conked on the head and rendered unconscious before you die. Then you don't have time to admit that Jesus was right and you were just holding out from accepting Him out of sheer obstinacy.

This verse could certainly be applied to Catholics and Italians. It's not enough to understand that God exists. You must obey His Word.

This means no Popes, no homo nonsense and no Power Rangers. Give yourself to Jesus, read and obey the real Bible and tithe to Landover Baptist Church. This is how you get into Heaven. Last Rites and "Holy" Water cannot substitute for the Blood of Christ.

Altogether then, "that nonsense" did pave the way for whatever comes after nonsense on the scale, namely Princes Of The Church. The veriest acme of pompous vulgarity. I'm not really sure what "a prince of the church" is, there are so many subdivisions and surprise ranks involved, nevertheless in their own eyes they outrank Kings and Emperors due to the fact that they're the ones allocating crowns and placing them on heads throughout history. A king is a king because a bishop (or archbishop or cardinal or one of the surprise ranks you never heard of before popping up for the occasion) says he is king. So from Earl/Count next up would be Marquis, then Duke, Grand Duke, Archduke, King, Emperor, with assorted categories of prince mixed in, all outranked by the lowliest prince of the church and so on up through the levels.

All this was codified in the medieval period, but that's quite late with respect to the Roman tradition – almost modern. Or actually modern if you read any of their dogma. Traditionalists are stuck in 451 and even the most ardent modernist hasn't done much thinking since 1066. But the hierarchy existed before that, as we know from references in the tomes of mumbo-jumbo churned out from councils across the centuries. So it probably would be necessary to read up in the annals of satanism to determine sources.

As a result we can be fairly certain that Power Rangers are a type of furry likely to hang out in mosh pits with goths and EMOs, thus remaining unsuitable for Christian homes.
