Rebuke Biblical view on modern-day slavery - 12-17-2018, 10:31 PM

Slavery. The topic most people prefer to avoid, even though our daily lives are affected by it.
Ironically, while slavery is illegal today all over the world, slaves are actually more affordable and more disposable today then they were 170 years ago.

Quote:
“Slaves today are cheaper than ever,” says the group. “In 1850, an average slave in the American South cost the equivalent of $40,000 in today’s money. Today a slave costs about $90 on average worldwide.”
Talk about the good days! Back then, owning a slave was a major investment, restricted to the rich and powerful. Today, slavery is much more democratic, available to everyone. Technically, we are not allowed to personally own a slave (due to secular laws; with Donnie we are working on changing it, though - it's something that here at Landover we have been preaching for a long while) - and trust me when I tell you, that despite affordability of slaves, owning one is a lot of hassle. Here is good news: you don't have to own a slave to profit from slavery! Every day, we all eat foods produced by slave labor (such as chocolate, coffee, seafood, just to name a few). We wear clothes and accessories produced by slave labor. We also receive services provided by slave labor, ranging from nail care to, well, affection of beautiful young people.

So, as Christians, should we feel bad about it?

The Bible says: NOPE! Slavery is totally OK! In fact, God took time to provide us with rather detailed instructions related to slavery.

For example:

1) The Bible teaches us how to obtain a slave:

a) Purchase a fellow True Christian™ (please note this was written before the Jews killed Jesus - now God is speaking to us, not them):
Quote:
Exodus 21:2 If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
b) Capture enemy civilians:
Quote:
Genesis 34:27-29
27 The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister.
28 They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field,
29 And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house.

Numbers 31:9 And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.

Numbers 31:17-18
17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

Deuteronomy 20:13-14
13 And when the Lord thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
14 But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the Lord thy God hath given thee.

2 Samuel 8:2 And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts.

2 Chronicles 28:8 And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.
2) The Bible provides instructions on how long can one keep his slave.

a) Saved males need to be set free after serving six years:
Quote:
Exodus 21:2 If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.

Leviticus 25:39-42
39 And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant:
40 But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubile.
41 And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.
42 For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.
Do not despair, though, there is a loophole. We can keep our Saved™ slave forever, simply by not letting his enslaved wife and children go free:
Quote:
Exodus 21:5-65 And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:
6 Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever.
b) Saved female, on the other hand, is a much safer investment:
Quote:
Exodus 21:7 And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
c) The unsaved are also safe investments, and they can be bought and sold without restrictions:
Quote:
Leviticus 25:44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.
3) The Bible goes so far that it even specifies in which circumstances spouses and children of your slaves are also your slaves:
Quote:
Exodus 21:3-4 3 If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.
4 If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.
Leviticus 25:45-46
45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.
46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.

4) The Bible gives special instructions how to treat a female slave:

a) One that was legally purchased from her father:

Quote:
Exodus 21:7-10
7 And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
8 If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.
9 And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
10 If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.
b) One that has been captured in a raid:

Quote:
Deuteronomy 21:10-14
10 When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the Lord thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive,
11 And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife;
12 Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house, and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;
13 And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife.
14 And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her.

5) The Bible also tells us how to punish a slave:

Quote:
Exodus 21:20-21
20 And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
21 Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.
Yes! If a slave dies on the day of the beating, that's a crime. If the slave dies the next day, it is perfectly OK in the eyes of the Lord!

Also, please note that it is OK to punish a slave, even when the slave was unaware he was doing the wrong thing - just remember to beat him a bit less than the slave who did a wrong thing knowingly:

Quote:
Luke 12:47-48
47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
6) The Bible stresses out that slaves have to submit to their masters. God hates disobedient slaves!

Quote:
Ephesians 6:5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

Colossians 3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God;

1 Timothy 6:1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.

Titus 2:9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
7) The Bible is clear that while some ethnicities are doomed to be slaves (Genesis 9:21-26), slavery overall is color blind – it is totally OK to possess a slave of your own ethnicity (see previously cited Exodus 21:2 and Leviticus 25:39-42).

What should YOU do about this, then? Here's the answer: go petition your local representative to Make America Great Again by legalizing slavery! It will save American companies a great deal of money if they don't have to pretend that they care about human trafficking! It is your Christian duty to obey the Lord and the Lord wants you to actively participate in exploitation of other human beings, either by doing the exploiting or being exploited.

So what are you still doing reading this, people??
Move your lazy asses and ACT NOW!!!

Who Will Jesus Damn?

Reading this sermon had me searching for more, and Jesus lead me to the following article about Thaddeus Alonzo Benjamin Hunter - TAB - and Wife, Parthenia Faith Gosnell Hunter:

http://www.landoverbaptist.org/thest...us/hunter.html

The one section that helped me understand more about being a slave for Jesus Christ and his children was this one
Quote:
Fun loving Parthenia began the Landovarian custom of lashin' and lynchin' parties which are still held today. Then, it was customary to beat (lash) the colored that belonged to the one being chastised. And of course, when it came to the lynchin', it was understood that one of the slaves would be lynched. In preparation for the Christian Event, Parthenia would make several gallons of lemonade and bake rock cakes for the slaves. This old recipe included sand, gravel and water and the cakes were force fed to the female slaves.
I hope to show the Lord that I want to exploit my negro race for him, and also be exploited for him.

I will petition my local representative and work at making America Great again!

God is not a racist - He allows for slavery of people of all shades, races, and ethnicities!

Yes Ma'am, you're absolutely right. God is not racist, so color or race does not matter at all to Him. We can all be slaves for Him.

I will definitely use all SJW's, Jews and feminists as slaves - as for negroes, I don't want them in white countries and neither does God. Race mixing is forbidden in His word. If they cannot even build their own houses, then well, I doubt it's looking good for them. And America was run by one of them for EIGHT years, thanks God He put a replacement in the office.

#FreeTheWhiteMan

And so much for equality in society (let's not forget that Wikipedia was founded by a Jewish humanist):
