  • Rose Bowl 2011: TCU v. Wisconsin and pure work of the Devil

Tomorrow is New Year’s Day, and it is important for True Christians to avoid the Rose Bowl and other football games, and these are Satanic in their nature and an abomination under God. I submit that it is a sin to watch the Rose Bowl.

    Here’s why:

One of the teams represents a heretical sect of false Christians: The Rose Bowl will be played between Wisconsin and Texas Christian University. TCU is sponsored by The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), which is a heretical sect that believes in liberal interpretations of the Bible. The Bible is the infallible word of God, and liberal “interpretations” have no place in True Christianity. Matthew 7:15 tells us to beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Watching TCU, and even worse, supporting them, means to support the devil.

Sports are contrary to Christian teachings. Sports promote the works of the flesh. These are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. Jesus warned us that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21. We should not seek vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Galatians 5:26.

By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law…” Galatians 5:22,23. Watch a football game while keeping these scriptures clearly in your mind…Is there kindness or gentleness with each brutal tackle? Or do you see a spirit of anger and dissension?

Moreover, Philippians 2:3 tells us to “do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.” The idea that pitting one person against another to determine which one is best strikes at the very heart of what Jesus said in His commandment to love one another. (John 13:34) It also flies in the face of another one of Christ's examples; that of washing the disciples' feet and then he said, "And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all."(Mark 10:44).

Football is a game of homosexuals. It is absolutely not possible for men to play football without touching each other’s private parts. The very positions of play involve men bending over, presenting rearly to their teammates, who thrush their hands between their bent-over teammates’ thighs. They touch buttocks, fall all over each other. It is unseemly and blatantly homosexual.

Even for those who are not playing, the homosexual undertones of football could tempt the most ardent heterosexual to arousal. These muscled men, young college players, many blond and blue-eyed and innocent looking; others, members of the nigra race, marvel modern science with their oversized genitalia and copious ejaculations.

Satan brings these thoughts to the forefront of every spectator’s mind. Many a group of “straight” men get to drinking and shouting and “high-5-ing” with each other slapping each other on the arms and thighs and buttocks. Rose Bowl parties across America thus descend from a seemingly innocent “let’s-watch-the-game” into “let’s-suckle-each other’s-penises” by half-time. It’s the Devil’s work.

The Rose Bowl is nothing more than sports Darwinism, a day of temptation into gambling, drinking and homerism. "Pray that ye enter not INTO temptation" (Luke 22:40), elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied (1 Peter 1:2) and turn off the Rose Bowl.

The Rose Bowl is not for Christians.
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

Praise Jesus, Brother Alex, I will be spending New Year's Day praying for peace and harmony in the world and not watching meaningless bowl games.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I agree that watching football is meaningless and not biblical. Football like every other sport is just a tool of the devil to distract the world.
