  • Mark 3:29, The one unforgivable sin

    Attention sinners!

Many of you come belatedly to Landover, afraid to die in your sins, and hoping to become washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus (1 Cor 6:11).

Sadly, although the Blood of the Lamb is able to wash your robes white (Rev 7:14), there is one sin that cannot be washed away. Let's look at the relevant verse in the proper context, shall we?

The story starts with Jesus' Baptism - I quote from Mark:
Mark 1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

The Holy Spirit descends on Jesus (Yes, I know that The Holy Spirit and Jesus are one and the same, but this is irrelevant). Jesus then starts ministering, but some of His neighbors have reservations. Fast forward to the relevant chapter:
Mark 3:21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.

His friends had never heard about a "holy spirit", so they thought He was crazy, "He is beside himself".
Mark 3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

The scribes also thought He was crazy, "He hath Beelzebub".
Mark 3:23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables,[. . .]

This is where Jesus "calls them unto Him" and explains the difference between an Unholy spirit (one that makes people crazy) and The Holy Spirit, which they had never heard about before.

I'll skip the explanations since you would know the difference already - and I'll get to the conclusion:
Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

Everything can be forgiven: Even if you murder, rape and vote for the Democrats.
Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

The only thing Jesus won't forgive, is calling Him crazy
Mark 3:30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

"Because they said, He is crazy"

There's a moral here for all the unsaved trash that visit this HOLY forum - and that moral comes straight from the sweet lips of our Baby Jesus: A True Christian™ pastor is filled with the Holy Ghost and if you mock us, you are mocking Jesus.

He will never forgive you for this transgression.
