    Hello Brothers

Greetings to all at LBC. I am so glad i found you. My name is Chester and I live in Minnesota, the icebox of the USA. Even though it is cold up here, my thoughts are never far from the fiery pits of Hell, especially because I suspect almost everyone I know is going there someday.

I have been reading on this site, and i am thrilled to finally meet people that guide their lives exclusively with the KJV, without cherry picking the verses based on their own opinions. There are so many over-opinionated false Christians out there, they almost outnumber the monkey-worshipping evil-outionists.

Farming keeps me busy, but i try to dedicate a portion of the day for reading the kjv. It invigorates me. I notice other people wasting their precious time on useless books or senseless drivel on TV, like that awful Cosmos show. The religion of science will get you to Hell faster than the speed of light.

    Isaiah 13:10-11
10*For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

11*And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

    ---------

Scientists think they are geniuses with all their space-time mumbo jumbo, but they aren't smart enough to add up how many years an eternity in Hell adds up to. And the lies they get people to believe! The lie that shocks me the most is scientists claiming the earth is round. Most people have not travelled beyond their own back yard, yet they believe this lie because so many other fools do, and they just follow the crowd, straight to Hell.

This really bothers me. In fact, I have told so many people the truth about the flat earth that they call me flat-chester, a nickname I proudly use on this site.

    Praise Jesus.

    Re: Hello Brothers

    Hi, Flatchester...

It's always good to meet non-God-haters who register and, lo and behold, can lay down a decent introduction. You just made my day!

Do you hear any pitter-padder of the feet from little Soldiers of Christ you are raising up in the form of children? Where do you worship in that frigid ice box of a moose-slum-owned place you call a state?

You have well said that scientifical types with their evilution are starting to outnumber the run-of-the-mill cherrypicker false Christians out there who pick and choose from what they want to follow in the Bible--of course, it really doesn't matter since both classes will be going to Hell forever (see I Tim. 6:20-21; Matthew 7:21-23).

I think even sadder is the fact that nearly the whole of the ungodly world now believes in this "round earth" nonsense when the Scripture is certain plain on the matter...

Job 9:6: 6 Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.

I Sam. 2:8: 8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them.

I look forward to your sharing any daily edifications with us.

    Regards,

    Pastor Ed

Welcome to you Chester. It is indeed good to see a good Christian man show up. We spend most of our time fending off Hell spawned wretches who come here to vex us.

We await your testimony. Tell us of your experiences with Jesus.

Why did you Yankees elect that Al Franken man?

      God Bless!

        God Bless!
Indeed. Especially the HOMERS that come in trying to tempt Godly men with their non-sense about how people are born that way.

        Matthew 18:6
But whoso shall cause one of these little ones who believe in Me to fall, it were better for him that a millstone were hung about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

I just glorify the heck out of sweet baby Jesus for puttin that out there.

Thank you for the welcome, Brothers.

Minnesota is a hard place for a Baptist nowadays, with all the muzloon Simalian terrorist trainees on the streets (imported by Obama, I might add).

As Brother Alvin reminds us, Minnesota's fine Fundamentalist historic traditions are now overshadowed by our shameful choice of senator, Yankin Al Franken. I believe he got all the queers and perverts to vote for him with his masterbation campaign:
          “Today I will masterbate!

Curious, how do you all figure people cross the Pacific Ocean if it is flat?
              Is it a lie?
What about satellite images? Are they lies?
I honestly want to know your opinions.

Have you ever been in an airplane so high above that you can see a curvature of the land? What are your thoughts?

But Scripture says the Earth is flat, in black and white. So be it.

Well, this does look rather majestic, I must admit!

Then wouldn't God have called them "the repulsive force of matter" in His infallible guide (ignoring the disclaimer on the frontispiece ) to life, the universe, and everything?

Not that it was meant to be "the repulsive force of matter", it may mean literal pillars!

Right, but the ones that could would still have different terminology than us. Also, I doubt they knew much about the repulsive force too extensively.

The KJV has always been in English.
That it has. The KJV is a translation, however.

"The King James Version (KJV), commonly known as the Authorized Version (AV) or King James Bible (KJB), is an English translation of the Christian Bible for the Church of England begun in 1604 and completed in 1611.[2] First printed by the King's PrinterRobert Barker,[3][4] this was the third translation into English to be approved by the English Church authorities. The first was the Great Bible commissioned in the reign of King Henry VIII (1535), and the second was the Bishops' Bible of 1568.[5] In January 1604, King James VI and I convened the Hampton Court Conference where a new English version was conceived in response to the perceived problems of the earlier translations as detected by the Puritans,[6] a faction within the Church of England.[7]"

There are other sources too, if you don't prefer Wikipedia.

The original raw version of the Bible untranslated:

"What language was the Bible originally written in? Pastors and seminarians can probably answer that easily enough, but the rest of us might have only a vague idea that the Bible was written in one of those “dead” languages. Ancient Greek? Latin, perhaps?
The Bible was actually written in three different ancient languages: Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek."
                          http://www.biblegateway.com/blog/2012/06/what-was-the-original-language-of-the-bible/

"During the thousand years of its composition, almost the entire Old Testament was written in Hebrew. But a few chapters in the prophecies of Ezra and Daniel and one verse in Jeremiah were written in a language called Aramaic....The New Testament, however, was written in Greek."

Well, True Christians take it literally, so it means pillar, right?
If you doubt a section, you're going to need to hold onto your faith to get you through. Although here, the people who consider themselves True Christians, will all tell you that you need to believe all of it.

It could only be a translation if it previously existed in another language, and it didn't.

Because the Bible says it, and they believe the Bible.

2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
