"Agnostic" = one who holds that the nature (or even existence) of God is unknowable.

    But you know they're wrong.

...Who is a great fan of the roman catholic aesthetic.

You're mistaken, friend! People challenge our views all the time. Sometimes they see the light, repent of their sinful, rebellious ways and join us. Sometimes they are stumped and slip away quietly, hoping not to get noticed. I like to think the Holy Spirit is chipping away at their charred heart. Sometimes they come out full retard, hoping that by being arrogant, nasty, mean, threatening, and enraged they can bully us into giving up our Salvation. It never works, dear. You see, True Christians™ have been bought by the Blood of Christ, and there are no exchanges or returns!

The views that are challenged are 100% Biblically accurate. We guarantee that. This means that there is nothing a True Christian™ says that wouldn't be said by Himself! We're the walking, talking, fleshy package that houses the Spirit of God Himself! Why, you might think of Pastor Zeke as the Exoskeleton of The Holy Ghost! Praise Jesus! All Glory to God!

So you see, people challenge our views all the time. They never win, though. How could they? How do you argue against perfection?

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

      1 Corinthians 6:19-20

I don't dislike the christian faith,
Oh, I just love reading this. Because you know the second half of the sentence is going to be some bashing, hate-speech against us.

I just hate people expressing ignorant and offensive views that appear to go unchallenged.
And here we go. And yet you're still allowed to post? People accuse us of this all the time: you never allow opposing views, you never have to defend your point of view, it's just an echo chamber for Jesus, etc. And you know what, they do this right here on our message board! If that isn't a sad reflection of the state of America's public school system and liberal logic, I don't know what is.

How ever this is me, male late forties and agnostic. Who is a great fan of the roman catholic aesthetic.
Nice to meet you, and why do you like the way the Pope looks?

If you're here with an open heart and an open mind, then welcome! But we've seen so many people coming in here with some cockamamie idea that they're going to prove that Jesus is dead with their "facts" and college degrees that we're skeptical. If you're here to have a conversation about how the Lord has changed your life and how you might come to know Him better, welcome!

Okay, let me address a few things, free speech is a fundamental human right, but unlike humans, ideas do not have rights and should be able to withstand challenges. So can you good people answer a few genuine question? Firstly why the king James version? The Landover Baptists do not recognise the Anglican church. Yet it is common knowledge that king James was head of this church when he commissioned it.
Next, yes I have more than the new testament. If the laws of laviticus apply.to homosexuality, what about the dietary laws and the ones about the hair on the side of the face?
And finally what to you have against Catholics when they clearly have the best art?
I hope that doesn't sound aggressive, love and peace.

I agree, brother. There's no need to get lost down some completely unnecessary bunny trail just because someone doesn't have anything better to do today than heckle decent people.

I agree with Brother Zech and Sister Mary. We are under constant assault from these unsaved wretches. I am told there is a title they claim: "Troll(s)". Their hope is to vex the righteous. I pray that they enjoy themselves, as their destination is Hell. They can try out their witty repartee on the Devil. I'm sure he will appreciate it.

                    Art like this?

When even their chief heretic worships idols, what hope can there be for those he has indoctrinated? None. God prohibits any form of idolatry which is a type of prostitution and fools who ignore His teaching have only themselves to blame. If they were even slightly interested in Redemption they could read The Bible but they don't. Hell is what they deserve. Hell is what they'll attain. Satan is their master, the anima within every pope transmitted to every catholic by means of idolatrous liaison from the cradle to the grave and reinforced by hollow psychodrama at every opportunity. "Oh but ..blurble ..blurble (nothing we haven't heard before time and again)" the papist will object. But the proof of this pudding is in its eating and chomp chomp these popes lead by example and really there's nothing more to be said. So here's some more "art" which far from any sort of "best" is anti-God, anti-Jesus, mocking The Bible and the worst most blatant route to perdition (via limbo purgatory lies sodomy and deception) yet devised.

We don't speak Truth in a vacuum, we have something substantial. Here it is:

Deuteronomy 5:6-9a I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Thou shalt have none other gods before me. Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them
                    KJV .. look up

That is why no Romish nation can ever be free.

Words are sometimes not enough to convey the awesome nature of the people and stories of the bible. The work of Michaelangelo, Caravaggio or Donatello are a good place to start if you are unfamiliar to the tressures of the roman church.

So you think God needed a homo papist to speak for Him because, what, His Holy Ghost wasn't capable (John 14:26)?

So your omnipotent god (capitalization intentionally omitted) somehow isn't capable of making himself understood with over 800,000 words? No, you need pictures. Better use a huge font and drool-proof paper, too.

Language has it's limitations, people get hung up on grammar and capitalization. Art is another way to understand and express the human condition. Idolatry is some thing different. In England during the centuries following the reformation 95% of the art in the monasteries and churches were destroyed. So the anglican chuches are bare. Wall paintings of scenes from the bible would have been white washed, bench ends illustrating the deadly sins will have been hacked away and the carved angles knocked down from the roofs. This loss to history makes me sad. I know the Catholic church has many unsavoury aspects to it's history, it was also a powerful cultural influence. I encourage you all to see how the artists of the middle ages and the Renaissance made the word of God international by not using words.
                              Peace and love.

                                BALONEY.

Kid, have you ever read the Bible? I know you haven't otherwise we wouldn't be having this painful (for me) and embarrassing (for you) conversation.

According to you, language has limitations. And what is language made up of? Words. And what does the Bible say about that?

(John 1:1) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

And then just a little bit later it says:

(John 1:14) "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

So in just one tiny little sentence you have said that God Himself not only has limitations, but that He never manifested Himself as Jesus.

NOW do you see why we have a problem with your blasphemous Catholic claptrap?

Yours in Christ (NOT SALVADOR DOLLY),
