Our ads are served by Google. If you have ever used Google search, Google stores a cookie on your computer. When Google serves you an ad, it reads your cookie to link back to your previous Google searches, and uses that information to figure out what ads you are likely to be interested in.Originally posted by Wowsers View Post

Looks like you should do a little research before posting erroneous messages.
This is the only website I have ever seen ads like that and I have never searched for anything homosexual. Nice job jumping to conclusions again though. I'm guessing it's probably because you guys are constantly referring to queers, homosexuals, homers, etc and Google is picking it up as a key topic. Are the advertisements served up to each user by Google's targeted-marketing service tracked by Landover?
It would seem to be a good way to automatically detect unrepentant homers, deniers of the Christ, Liebrals, and other trash.
Personally, I see mostly ads for waterproof Bibles, Beano, and labrador retriever puppies.

I wouldn't be too quick in dismissing Pastor Billy-R's explanation. Google generates huge profits from the internets, where zillions and zillions of other companies have failed. Are you so naive as to think Google is going to tell us everything about its business practices, protocols and algorithms? Not likely.
