Okay, so let's say there was a 5-year-old on your property vandalizing, stealing, and torturing your pets. You're saying you would just stand on the porch and coo over the precious little child?

What if an over 18-year-old was just crossing your lawn? You'd have no problems shooting them?

    I don't get your logic.

The warning was clear. Yet those sinners decided to keep committing revelery at an hour when Christians are a home asleep.

Those permissive parents had their son awake past his bedtime. Well, he's finally getting some rest now.

Exactly. If people don't have common sense they should face punishment, whether it is a punch in the face or a gun shot. Why are these two kind souls being charged! They clearly had the correct signs, yet the idiots chose their fate. But the law is in their favor...

Sadly this is all due to modern education by the LIEbrals teaching socialism. They were all taught not to respect private property. They think they can just take anyone's property and use it as they please – just like Obama.
So true. I see it all around me. Children with no respect for others in authority or another's personal property. It is a disgrace. Certainly, this could have been an accident since it was so dark but do not for a moment every underestimate that children can commit acts of violence, crime and sin. Usually, it is the result of poor upbringing by Heathen parents.

Arizona has finally legalized concealed guns in bars. Finally!

After all, my clothes are my private property, and if people fear mutually assured destruction via a bar-brawl-with-bullets, they will be less likely to spill their beer on my private property.

Mutually Assured Destruction worked during the Cold War, why shouldn't it work in a bar? Remember, we're not talking about arming potheads here, just drunks.

Which makes gunfire not prosecutable if the participants are not able to differentiate between right and wrong.

You folks are seriously misinformed about this case. The Coffeys and their companions never set foot on the Muhs property. They were unrinating on the side of a PUBLIC road. They were also shot on public land. Don't take my word for it - look it up for yourself.

Have you forgotten that a seven-year-old child is dead? Even if they did trespass (Which, as I said, didn't happen, was it worth his life). The Muhs fired blindly into a pitch-black might at two fleeing vehicles. Any novice gun owner knows you don't pull the trigger unless you know what you're shooting at.

Suppose the Muhs shot one of your children - how many of you would feel justified killing the Muhs in revenge? Think my friends, before you make statements like, "I'd shoot anyone who set foot on my property." You may have to one day.

Shooting and killing any unarmed person is unacceptable and wrong. They had no reason nor right to "defend" their property from and unarmed person(s). What do they have to defend from children ? Are you all serious ?!
