Re: Christmas Cotillion 2014
Only five days until the Cotillion! My but those of us involved in getting it ready have just been tirelessly working to ensure a grand event at which the Lord Himself may show up (Jesus? You know you are always welcome in Freehold!).
It's amazing though that out of the 25 women that volunteered to assist, only seven of you have been doing anything. Seven is God's perfect number, of course, so I just keep praising His Glorious Name as I spend time soaking my tired muscles in my imported Jacuzzi with the solid gold controls. God is so good.
I sent the photographs of everyone's dress to Pastor Ezekiel for approval. He knows a great deal about fashion and hair - and amazingly so does his houseboy - the new one from Korea - now what was his name? Bok Choi? I don't recall. Pastor plans again to clean up after the event with carefully chosen crews. I offered to leave pie for them but he says men get by better with meat, so I guess he knows his preference better than I. Daisy, he is such a handful - or so I'm told. (Got that ring yet, hon?)
Well, I simply must get back to my Bible study now as I reflect on Pastor's sermon regarding the Evils of Being Anything Pastor Dislikes. What an unusual and yet timely sermon. We are so lucky!
In our beautiful Savior,
