  • Support Kellogg's, they dropped Olympic doper Michael Phelps

After winning a record 8 gold medals last summer, Michael Phelps has been on a college dorm room bong tour. Candid photos that appeared last week show the super swimmer with his face jammed into a marijuana pipe. He hasn't been tested, yet, but the results are going to be positive, and Phelps has already considered pulling out of the 2012 games due to his indiscretion.

Kellogg cereal wisely has decided to separate themselves from this unrepentant doper. It was a wise move. Parents need to know that their cereal purchases don't contain hidden drug messages from spokespeople with questionable morals.

Parents should be encouraged to support Kellogg for their brave stance in this situation. They know who their customers are, and it's sure not a bunch of lazy reefer addicts stuffing their faces with Froot Loops all day long.
    Kellogg to drop Phelps

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Kellogg Co. said Thursday that it will drop its endorsement deal with Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps following his acknowledgment he inhaled from a marijuana pipe. The 23-year-old swimming star has apologized for his "regrettable" behavior and "bad judgment" after a photo appeared Sunday in the British tabloid News of the World that showed Phelps inhaling from a marijuana pipe.

Most of his major sponsors, such as Visa Inc., Speedo, luxury Swiss watchmaker Omega and sports beverage PureSport's maker Human Performance Labs, stood by the athlete following the news, even if they didn't condone his behavior.

But Battle Creek, Mich.-based cereal and snack maker Kellogg said Phelps's behavior is "not consistent with the image of Kellogg." Kellogg had contracts with Phelps and other Olympic athletes to support its association with the U.S. Olympic team. The company said in a statement that it will not renew its contract with Phelps, which expires at the end of February. The company did not renew its deal with the US Olympic Team, which expired in December. Kellogg would not disclose the value of its deal with Phelps.

Experts have said that after Phelps won eight gold medals, he scored millions in endorsement deals, including the one that placed him on boxes of Kellogg's Frosted Flakes and Corn Flakes boxes.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Here are two more reasons to support Kellogg's:
    • There are enough rumors that Michael Phelps is a homer to make it clear in a True Christian™'s mind that he is. We must therefore support Kellogg's in its defense of the sanctity of the family.
    • The Organic Consumers Association, whose very name screams out, "We're America-hating leftists," has urged a boycott of Kellogg's for inane P.C. reasons.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

There is the problem Mr. Kellogg was pervert.
      perverts are everywhere!
      Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Well, if you side with a boycott, then you side with the dopers, and I don't think you want to do that.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

That's true, but I don't wish to side with perverts either! I'm on God's side.

You don't have to buy all of their products. Just don't agree to not buy any of them, and you're not siding with the reefer madness.

I refuse to support a company that has a transvestite tiger as one of its mascots.

That neckerchief is very dainty and effeminate. Tony the Tiger makes Mr. Furley look macho, and he dressed queerer than Liberace and Elton John combined.

8 People, 1 Bong Arrested Over Phelps Pot Pic

Posted Feb 10th 2009 12:10PM by TMZ Staff

Michael Phelps' world has already lost at least one sponsor after a picture of him smoking from a bong was published by a British tabloid. Now it seems others will pay a price as well.

Eight people have been arrested in connection with the pot-smoking picture, WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C. reported. According to the report, seven people have been charged with drug possession and one person with distribution. Phelps was not one of the people charged.

Police have confiscated the bong from the picture, according to the report, after the bong's owner tried to sell the paraphernalia for $100,000 on eBay. The owner was not at the party when Phelps was photographed.

Richland County sheriff's department, which last week said it was considering pursuing charges against Phelps, could not confirm or deny the TV station's report. "The reporter who released that story is claiming that he has sources, but we're not the source of that information," said Lt. Chris Cowan, the department's public information officer, according to a Los Angeles Times report Tuesday. "We're not releasing any additional information. We are investigating, and if we determine that illegal activity has occurred, we will bring charges."

SUBWAY sandwich shops has dropped Phelps, too, so I'm going to suggest that people dismiss the boycott and buy lots of SUBWAY sandwiches to let them know that we support their decision to stop supporting Phelps' drug habit.
Subway De-links Michael Phelps As They Prepare to Drop Sponsorship

Exclusive! Subway has officially de-linked Michael Phelps as they prepare to drop his recently announced sponsorship deal. Before Michael’s bong hits hit the headlines, Michael Phelps was featured on the Subway web site. However, since the swimmer’s pothead scandal, Subway has removed all links to pages featuring the Olympic swimmer (see below).

Confidentially, the Subway webteam gave us the heads up — Michael Phelps has been remmed out, de-linked, due to his recent one toke over the line. Other Subway “celebrity friends” are still listed, like Jared, Ryan Howard and Reggie Bush — but they have been told to officially de-link all references featuring Michael (click below to see larger):

In an e-mail from Subway spokeswoman Megan Driscoll, she said: “Subway is not commenting or releasing a statement right now on Michael Phelps.” However, in de-linking all references to Michael Phelps, this is Subway corporate as they prepare for dropping their sponsorship. Our insider told us Subway execs are pissed off, talking to legal, want their endorsement money returned — and to “get rid of this embarrassment.”

And, here’s the thing, Subway just signed Michael on November 21st! Here’s what they said at the time:
“SUBWAY® takes pride in being a healthy and active brand - one that can be a regular part of these world class athletes’ routines,” states Tony Pace, Chief Marketing Officer of the SUBWAY Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust (SFAFT), which signed the contract with Phelps. “We knew Michael Phelps was a big fan of our sandwiches and we wanted to build on that with him to illustrate that SUBWAY® is a brand that can play a role in helping everyone - from elite athletes to weekend joggers - perform at their peak levels and make healthier, smarter choices about food, whatever the activity.”

And being a “healthy and active brand” does not mean associating themselves with a goofy pothead, regardless of Olympic medals… Right now, Jared is laughing and nodding, knowing that job security is sweet.
Subway did the right thing and they should be commended for managing to to at least something right.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I saw this perversion coming a long time ago. Who else but a pervert would go out in public in nothing more than a tiny, revealing postage stamp of a swimsuit? We can talk about the sin of marijuana smoking and how it inevitably leads to deadlier and deadlier drug addictions, but just consider how much sin has been promoted through parading around soaking wet in a revealing bathing suit that leaves NOTHING to the ladies' imaginations!!
