Raunchy devil statue suddenly erected outside SkyTrain

A large red devil statue with a very prominent feature has shown up outside a Vancouver SkyTrain station.

The statue stands about eight to nine feet tall, and was set on a pedestal near the VCC/Clark Drive SkyTrain station in Grandview-Woodland. The statue is at Clark and Grandview Highway.

Commuters have definitely taken notice, not only because of the statue’s size, but because the male figure is depicted with a large erect penis.

A Twitter user asked the City of Vancouver about the statue. Their records explain that the Christopher Columbus statue that had been erected (their word!) in that spot has been moved to Hastings Park.

So far it is not known who placed the statue there or what it means.

UPDATE: “City crews arrived just after 3 p.m. to remove the statue,” reports Global.

Pastor, I do not wish to question you, however having this image on this forum is an eyesore. Surely us Christian ladies should be spared such abominations in this safe haven? I feel rather scared, this gloating red pervert would have all our souls for supper.

I must ask my husband if he will kindly discipline me, for such filth may corrupt me and I do not wish to burn in hell - especially if I were to be impaled on this devils member. It is morally corrupt to foist such devience on our eyes, and the eyes of our children. Brothers and sisters, i feel rather faint in the face of such explicit sexuality.

I believe romans have put this better then I could hope to, 'for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is peace and life'
